Re: Alan Wake (360)
Yeah this is really the first video I've seen of this game and damn, it looks so good and original.
Is there any word on how long the story takes? I'd hate for this game to be like Splinter Cell Conviction where its only around 10 hours.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Alan Wake (360)
Microsoft is doing a live-action short series that serves as a prequel to Alan Wake. First two episodes are up:

Re: Alan Wake (360)
My thoughts exactly. This was nowhere on my radar, but looks very interested as it offers something unique.
Oh, and that 4 minute video was awesome!"Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

Ben Kuchera (Ars Technica)If night one is an indicator I'm going to need a chill down after Alan Wake sessions before trying to lie down and sleep. Intense.

The use of music so far has been the biggest surprise: great soundtrack.
Ron WorkmanAlan Wake is an amazing game. Possibly the best sense of atmosphere on the Xbox 360.

I hit an area on Alan Wake that pushes the 360 graphically more than I have ever seen. ****ing impressive
...
It looks like I am the first person in the world to beat the retail build of Alan Wake. Woo Woo! On normal 12 - 18 hours long.
...
not a huge fan of the genre. the game is ****ing stellar
Examiner
The game keeps a multimedia record of the cutscenes, radio segments, TV shows, and songs that the player might come across during this exploration of Bright Falls, all of which can be played back. Remedy clearly put a lot of thought in selecting fitting songs, many of which go beyond just being standard immersive background audio; one tune for example serves as a well-picked audio device to end the chapter.
Alan Wake also lets the player view various statistics which track the different ways enemies have been killed and what items have been found.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
