i read on another board that a few people with gamestop preorders got the call that they didn't want to get today.......regarding their PS3 preorder. Let's just say, they're not getting the shipment they expected on Friday.

well I work at target and we are only getting 3 in and the employees already pre ordered them so Target shouldnt have much if not any

Apparently EB/GS only got 50-60% of their initial expectations. If you were the first to pre-order, you still have first dibs, however some are getting a call saying that they dont have enough 60GB versions, "would you mind taking a 20GB instead", others are getting the call that they'll just have to wait but they expect at the very latest by Christmas. Also, EB/GS employees being told they have to wait.

Well apparently a preorder doesn't actually gurantee that you'll get anything.

I'm #3 on one list, but I got another through a buddy. He won't get his until second shipment.
