I play it off and on. Mostly off, but I was thinking about picking it back up again. I am pretty far along in the game. Just don't have the time to put into it like I used to.

If I play I may just start it all over to just go through the game again.

Thinking about running through it again once I get finished with Fable.

Probably going to go with an atheltic arrow shooting character this run through.

The main quest... yes. Technically I don't think you can entirely beat it. Also have completed all of the downloadable content and most of the guilds.

I still play it now and then. Before Dragon Age was released it had become my main goto game again after I found out about all the mods on PC. Soooo much content for this game it's crazy.

I started to play again (this time on the PC) but was kind of put off by this:

Does anyone know how to use a gamepad with this game on the PC? I downloaded some drivers that make the PS3 controller work as a gamepad, but I couldn't figure out how to use it with Oblivion.

Actually I've been thinking about playing this for about the last two weeks. Go with a battle mage.

I have like over 100 hours of playtime, and have yet to touch the main campaign or the expansion quests.

I use the program Xpadder and it allows me to convert keyboard and mouse to my 360 controller but it will work with a PS3 controller as well and it's pretty easy to setup. The program is $10 but I am playing my PC again since I can use a controller for any game. I configured it for the Witcher and have had no problems with that game.

So Oblivion has no gamepad support? Shame.

Maybe I'll look for some freeware programs that do the same thing you described.
