There are countless number of mods available if you have the PC version. I played through the campaign on the 360 but have always said I would go through the PC version with new graphics, textures, and character models which really are just the tip of what is available for mod users.

This game is so fun. My brother got it when it came out. Then he left, so I got my own this February. Really addicting, although it starts to bore me now...

Give it a rest for a few weeks, then you'll get a craving to play it again. Thats how it is w/ me, I wont play it for months then I will have some long sessions with it.

The Real Question is, I have just about done all the side quests and I did all of the Guild Quests, what should I tackle next:

          The Main Quest
Shivering Isles(i Have not even gone there yet)
          Knights of Nine

I am leaning towards the Knights of Nine...

            Trust your instincts.

The main quest is actually one of the weaker points of the game (repetitive and not enough depth) IMO.

If you're on PC, download and join the Archaeology Guild. That's one hard as hell questline.

Re: Official Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Discussion

The only good part is the end battle, and even that wasn't very good.

And the random gates really piss me off! I hate the red skies.

I have a bit of a story. I was doing the Anvil mages guild recommendation. I was walking along the road, waiting to get confronted by the rogue mage, then I see an oblivion gate on the map. Then later on (the gate was near the road) there's an imperial guard and a his dead horse. He's like "Do you think we stood a chance" and right beside him is a dead Daedra. Then I look behind me to see the mage chasing me. I take out my sword and attack, the battlemages attack, and the guard attacks.

We end up killing her, but then the mages turn on the guard. Being the good mage I am, I helped the mages out. It was so funny. Then they just walk away, another Imperial guard comes by, takes his fellow dead guards armour, and then rides away.

And there there is, a dead guard on nothing but his undies. I laughed so hard.

Okay. Thinking about picking this up again.

                    Heres what I have done:

                    1) Main Quest
                    2) Theives Guild
                    3) Dark Brotherhood (my favorite)
                    4) Champion
                    5) Some shivering isles

Is it worth picking up again? I am getting the itch. Is there enough stuff I haven't done?

I bought a used GOTY edition and was loving it until I realized the GOTY portion or other disk with all the dlc was missing lol.

I was surprised at how much and how quickly i got back into the groove and enjoyed the gameplay.

It also made me wish fallout had more standard raider enemies and more melee combat forced on the gamer (like bullets being more rare or something)

The quest variety was outstanding....so I think I will pick this up again and make sure this time I get the real GOTY edition.

Well there are Hundreds of side quests to do, the Daedric quests are easily the best in the game.

Haha, I know nothing about the daedric quests. I obviously need to read up on this stuff.

Got the game anyway. Morrowind did the same thing to me. I would sell it and then a month or two down the road get the urge to play it more than anything.
