Trauma Center: Second Edition is one of the those funky titles that reminds me of the Dreamcast. No way you'd see an off-beat title like that on a Sony or MS machine.
I like that off-kilter thinking by Nintendo and its third-party developers.
Take care,

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Well, have you ever seen a surgery game on a Microsoft or Sony console? I surely have not.Comment

The point is, Nintendo's franchises are quirky and playful. They are a departure from the military/sci-fi first-person action shooters and licensed sports games that flood the 360 and the PS3.
Trauma Center reminds me of something that was on the Dreamcast. That console had more funky titles in three years than most consoles do in two generations. Seaman, Shenmue, Space Channel 5, Chu Chu Rocket, Jet Grind Radio, etc., etc., etc.
Take care,

All I know is, Trauma Center is a sweet game for the DS, I can't imagine how cool it'll be for the Wii with that controller.Comment

Originally posted by jmood88You're acting as if the offbeat games are somehow limited to the nintendo system which isn't the case. Both the ps2 and the xbox had games like that so it's just a matter of time.

Re: Nintendo Wii (Revolution) Information, hardware, games discussion
Originally posted by jmood88You also complained about how both the xbox 360 and the ps3 are planned to have sequels while nintendo pretty much does nothing but make sequels and is ready to cash in on mario/zelda/other old characters at any possible time.
Nintendo milks its franchises, but at least its franchises, especially Zelda, are outside the shooter-sports-racing realm. I like those genres very much, but I also like to have choices outside of them. Nintendo offers more of them, especially on its handhelds.
See any quirky titles like Nintendogs on the Xbox or PS3? Didn't think so.
Take care,
