From what I seen at Youtube, There are some creative designers out there. We are in the early stages of this game, so once we no longer need the camera thing, The created levels should get crazy. I look forward to that.
Good game and gets better all the time for me. A good "escape" from the norm type game.

There is an awesome Pac-man level, but I think it may have been taken down... someone should look to see if it's still there, then play it (I couldn't load it for whatever reason).

Also, look for "Sweet Child of Mine," which is p. 2 of the cool/popular levels. Pretty innovative stuff.

This thread really fell off the map... is anyone still enjoying LBP? I'm thinking about picking it up in the near future.

I haven't really played that much lately with all the other games that are out. I love it, just haven't had time to play it.

Yeah, it's probably tough for a lot of people to find time for all the great games that have been released recently.

I've had the same problem, with Fallout 3 and NBA 2k9 getting most of playing time, there's not much time for this great game.

I'm getting it for Christmas. Hopefully I'll have a good two weeks to be able to play it then.

                  Re: Little Big Planet (PS3)

                  I just ebay'd a 240 buck 40 gig PS3 specifically for this freakin game.

I got it yesterday and just my god, this game is just so original and fun.

I played online for the first time this morning. Poor guy, he joined in with me right as I finished a challenge level so he didnt get to play in that one. Next level I chose was that Mirror's Edge one and evidently he was excited, jumping all around and ****, then he pressed himself right up against the gate. Once that sucker opened I pimp slapped him into the pit and continued on before he could respawn.

I died on the 2nd jump so he came back and kept trying to hit me back, so on a jump i stood by the edge and as he ran by I quickly grabbed him so he lost momentum and fell again, lol.

Man, I'm mean in the morning.

I got this game last week and I am loving it. It is a nice change of pace from all of the depressing FPS that are out there. Don't get me wrong I like those games too, but it is nice to play a game that is just fun.

I have the game but, I haven't opened it yet.

I already have NBA Live 09 & 2K9, NHL 09, Tiger 09, Socom and COD WaW. And plan on getting NCAA 09 next week (trading in either Live or 2k9) so I don't know how much time I will have to invest in the game.

For the people that have it. Is it worth it? How are you guys liking it? I've noticed that the thread has gone kaput. Anyone still playing?

I just got it today and I am having a blast so far. It's definitely completely different from the typical games I play (sports, FPS, etc,). I probably played it 4 hours straight tonight, completely lost track of time.

I can see myself coming back to this game again and again, it has limitless replayability with the level creator and the amazing stuff the community is already producing. It's also fun to co-op levels with friends... even people who don't typically play video games (read: girls) are fascinated by the game and want to play it.

I had no clue when it was coming out, due to getting pulled from shelves and everything...You'd think Sony would have ads out or something.

Either way I'm holding off. I'm sure it's fun, just would play an hour and put it away because of other games.

I feel the same way. I'm one level (I think) away from the end of story mode, but I'm far, FAR away from being done with this game. As time goes on, more and more creative levels will get published (two of the best original one I've seen are Azure Palace and World of Color), plus I could just tool around in the level editor for hours at a time just playing with stuff. I might never publish anything, but the amount of time I could spend just fooling around might be limitless. One of the funniest things I did while messing around was balance a 1/2 level size wall of stone (and those levels are HUGE) on a tiny sackboy-size square of dark matter. Any other material and the weight of the stone just crushes it. I could even see it swaying back and forth in mid-air.

I'm also starting to replay some of the story levels online, and getting some of the 2x sticker hauls with random people. It takes a while to connect (and sometimes it doesn't connect at all) but when it works the co-op is a lot of fun.

I can't wait to play around with the level creator, I just need to get more objects to use first.

We should try co-oping sometime, cruise. Maybe some other OS'ers would be interested as well. Could be fun.

When I get time, sure. One of the things I like best about the Co-op is going through and hitting sticker switches for people who don't have the triggers yet. Did that for a 3 sack-person game I was in last night, and as it turned out I hadn't hit that particular switch either until then! 3 stickers I didn't even know I hadn't gotten - and it was enough to get my 100 on that level! The other two were loving me for that as well, of course.

Also, while playing a game on Boom Town somebody blew up a rock with a time bomb, that I didn't even realize was a weak wall! I got helped out a few times too.
