1.5 seconds of actual game. Do they think that sort of thing helps? They had a decent idea and it would've been good if they showed the changes in game.

I thought it was good Ad. As far as not showing much gameplay, that's how most TV Ads for games are these days. It certainly didn't hurt Gears of War, BioShock or Mass Effect (to name a few), and Fable II is going to sell well regardless.

Gears and Mass Effect still used in game stuff for their ads even though it wasn't gameplay. I don't remember Bioshock.

Looks like Day One Patch

Remember a couple of days ago (or was it a week) where on a blog it was mentioned that Fable II would be shipping 'without' Online Co-op? And remember we said we were busting our balls to get it ready in time for a 'Day One' release? Well - [Good] news folks! It looks like we've done it...for all of you who are connected to Xbox Live, when starting up your copy of Fable II (on 21st October in USA, 24th October in Europe and 18th December in Japan). So all of you getting upset and all, you wouldn't even have noticed... Sort of. Well done to the team.

Taken into account we don't fail certification!

The first time you fight with the dog in fact, he gets injured.

"If you don't want your dog you just leave him injured. Thats it," Molyneux said. "Eventually, he's going to catch up to you, it may be in half an hour's time and you may be in a pub. But you can leave him way behind."

The decision to not include some sort of toggle for the dog and instead force gamers to abandon the dog to be rid of him was born of Molyneux's design philosophy for the game.

"I could have put into the menu, I could have put something that said disable dog, but how does that make you feel anything?" he said. "I wanted people to realize this dog loves you. There has to be a consequence to your action. The consequence is he is going to catch up to you and that's when he is going to make you feel guilty. It's an emotion consequence rather than it being a GUI tool.""

Though of course if I don't want it to begin with I'm not going to feel bad when it's forced on me so I can't really see how that makes a difference.
