I got Rock Band (360) for Christmas. We're going to be playing it at family parties this coming weekend and I want to unlock more songs. I'm not going to have time to play through the game to unlock them. I see that there is a cheat that allows you to unlock all of the songs. However, it says that the cheat disables saving. Is this a permanent cheat on your profile because I do want to go through the game and unlock them myself later? Thanks.

I got Rock Band (360) for Christmas. We're going to be playing it at family parties this coming weekend and I want to unlock more songs. Dude just go on drums on easy and you can unlock all of the songs by then.

Dude just go on drums on easy and you can unlock all of the songs by then.

We left the guitars, drums, etc. at my in-laws because we're going back there this weekend for a Christmas party and didn't feel like hauling it twice, so I'm not going to be able to play it until Friday night.

From what I can tell from other message boards, the "unlock all" isn't permanent.

Yeah, it is not permanent. If you just want to be able to play all the songs during a get-together in Quick Play, feel free to use it.

However, if you are going to be playing with others, I recommend starting a band and playing World Tour Mode. It takes the fun-factor up a few notches.

I thought I was the lucky owner of a defective-free drumset, but I was wrong. Now that I am playing on hard and I am required to hit the red pad very quickly in some sections I've discovered that the pad does not register quick back-to-back quick notes on the pad, it only registers every other note or so if played very quickly.

I'm not the best player but I knew something was wrong when I NEVER would be able to hit a really fast section on that red pad. So I began to test it during the free-style fill sections and sure enough, the red pad wasn't registering every hit. Funny thing, I never would have noticed playing on medium. They've probably been defective since day one.

I had a chance to play Rockband this holiday season at my cousin's and I was totally impressed. I actually like it way more than GH. The songs, the DLC, the drums, I loved it all. I'll be looking for it IF it drops a little.

I love rb. I'm begining to get the guitar. I'm constantly getting 5 stars on the easy tour with singing. And drums are nice too.

I was a huge GH fanboy and didn't think that I would care to play drums and definitely sing, plus I thought that GH3 had a better tracklist. A couple of weeks ago I bit the bullet and got RB, I was blown away. I think every aspect of it is better than GH, the presentation is superior, the drums are a blast and even the singing is pretty fun (as long as you aren't self-concious). I really enjoy the songs on RB better too, maybe it's the way they set up the tabs, I don't know.

I just beat Hard on guitar and have cruised through the first 13 on expert. I am stuck on medium on the drums though. The WT mode blows anything away, it is so much fun. I just wish you could play it online; my son is 6 and can play medium pretty well on guitar, but he gets tired fast and we can only play about 6 songs a day.

The DLC has been great so far too, way better than anything that GH has put out.

I just picked the game only yesterday to play with my GH 3 guitar and so far I'm really impressed with the game. I love the presentation and the atmosphere. You can see whats going on in the background much more so than guitar hero. The character customization seems to be more fleshed out too. I think I'm going to download the metallica pack today.

So I picked up the AAR and 30 Seconds to Mars songs last night and they are a blast! I just hope the DLC keeps coming like this. I like playing more recent songs as compared to the classic stuff. Hell, I'll likely DL any content thats that cheap though.
