Honestly, it's worst case scenario. It's a marathon at the end of that song once the solos start. I could hardly believe that those guys were so indulgent with their repetitive soloing. It made it harder to learn the song, because I hate practicing a song I don't like with pretend guitar. But it was the last song I needed, so I did it, and haven't played it since, lmao.

Yeah I just watched a clip of it on youtube. Geez. There are three killer sections of repeating notes that go on for a LONG time. What a mess. I think the last part might actually be the easiest for me to get, because it's kind of like the galloping triplets on Knights of Cydonia from GH3, only you stay on the same buttons the whole time. It looks faster though.

Same... there are songs that I hate to practice because I hate them. I got lucky though and just BARELY beat GG&HT on my first try. I was like 1 missed note from failure but I somehow made it.

The Pixies' album Doolittle is next week's DLC. Our friends are HUGE Pixies' fans, but I'm not going to download the whole thing. I'll probably get a few songs.

I'll probably get Monkey gone to Heaven, but thats it. Where is my Mind is the Pixies song that i want to play

Oops, I was wrong. Pixies is June 24th DLC. Offspring, Avenged Sevenfold, and Crooked X are June 17th's.

That's a good look. I like A7X's older stuff better, but to be able to play the drums and have the singing will be great. I'll probably blow 1600 points on DLC next week and tie up some loose ends. There's some great music out there.

That's "Afterlife". The solo at 4:17 looks like a total bitch to play/pass.

Yeah, solos like that are really hard to combo in Rock Band.

Is it just me, or do other people find that it is harder to hit hammer-ons in this game than in GH2, even though the timing window is the same?

They're both pretty tough, especially when compared to GH3. I don't see much difference between the two.

I find it a lot easier on RB than GH2. Maybe that's just because I can actually see the hammer-ons on RockBand.

Nothing is as easy (dumbed down) as GH3, though.
