Finally beat One on Hard...Thank goodness.
I think that is my most played GH song...Surpassing even Freebird.Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 3
I did the same yesterday, still can't beat Lou though. I feel like it's really unfair that he gets his battle power first, essentially ruining your chances to get yours.Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 3
Nice, we should try some of the battle modes online. I just got owned by someone on Black Magic Women (90-95%) and Cant Be Saved or something like (90-99%).Comment

I really like what Rock Band has done with deciding to make entire albums available via DLC. Although the price is a bit hefty.Congratulations BUTLER BULL DOGS!

Re: Guitar Hero 3
I just hope they reissue GH 1 and GH 2 (and possibly 80's) for the Wii. I'll buy the discs themselves for $25-$35. Since we can't download it, give us at least another option...

Re: Guitar Hero 3
I couldn't agree more. Recently I traded in my PS2 with both GHI and GH 80's and play exclusively the XBOX 360 versions of GHII and GHIII as well as RB. I really miss some, though not all, of the songs on those two Guitar Hero PS 2-only releases. I can only imagine that most if not all of those songs would become available as DLC in the not so distant future.

Yep, I sold all my PS2 and GH stuff only to miss them again. Rebought the games and I am playing them on the PS3. Would love to sell them as soon as they became DLC.Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 3
After playing the hell out of Rock Band this past week, my wife decides that she wants to play some Guitar Hero III career co-op. Now she hasn't played GH since GH1 due to frustration with hitting notes. I was playing guitar and she was playing bass, she is finally getting good at hitting the notes. This is kind of cool that she is playing this game too now. LOL! Rock Band inspired her to re-try the guitar hero games.Comment

How are you getting GH80's to work on the PS3, I was reading the guitar won't register...........if you have a secret, please share.

Re: Guitar Hero 3
I had never played GH until I tried out GHIII a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, I am hooked. I went through the entire game on Easy with hardly any trouble. Hitting three notes is no big deal. When I moved up to medium, I struggled a bit at first (adding the extra note was a bit of an adjustment) but eventually it clicked and I can get 95% or better most of the time, unless I just totally screw up a song.
Now that I've moved to Hard, it's coming a bit more slowly. The orange note is an even bigger adjustment, because it requires more hand dexterity, and it requires moving my hands to different fret buttons at different points of the songs. Additionally, Hard also adds TONS more chords and more notes in general, and lots of hammer/pull. It's a much bigger step up from medium to hard than it was from easy to medium.
I guess what I'm trying to ask, is how long will it take to really click? I'm getting frustrated failing songs over and over (some I can nail on the first try) but some of these songs are really really tough. I can't even imagine trying expert level.Xbox Live Gamertag: MizzouBrentComment
