I played this for a while but never finished it. Starting up a new game to hold me over til Skyrim. What mods would you guys reccomend?

I just picked this back up as well....on the xbox 360.

I started in 08 and got distracted and never finished it.

With the slow summer game schedule it was a perfect time to start again.

played the main quest,op ancorage,the pitt and now I'm working on point lookout.

One of the best games all time.

BTW...I had already played through new vegas on my ps3 before picking this one up again.

I never played this but did play a little of New Vegas. I've heard 3 is better so I'm considering it. Is the gameplay pretty much the same at the core or are they very different? Thanks

Gameplay is the same.
I think NV is far better in terms of everything else though.

I prefered Fallout 3 over NV..
maybe just the loacation of DC. I got NV used and took it back after a couple days.

Big time. Fallout 3 was like no other experience I had ever had whereas New Vegas felt like an expansion pack. Still completed it but was happy to be done unlike Fallout 3 where I just kept playing and playing and playing.
