    Re: Fallout 3

My friend finally gave me back my copy of the game after I lent it to him for a month or so. Since he bought the GOTY so that he could continue to play, when he came over to my place to give me back the regular version he also installed the second disc (with all the expansions) on my 360. The only one I had prior to this was Broken Steel.

I played through Point Lookout and did all the major quests there, and I will be heading back there later on to discover every location. I really enjoyed Point Lookout, cool weapons, fun battles, and a really nice change of pace from the Wastelands. Now I am in The Pitt...just got in after being stripped of my beloved weapons/armor. Bout to do the quests in here.

I love this game. I have only done one playthrough (good), but I have logged in over 70 hours on my character. As much as I would like to start an evil character sometime soon, I find that there is so much more left to accomplish with the one I have right now. When I got back in the Wastelands I just wandered around for an hour or so picking fights with Raiders and other enemies scattered around the ruins. I'm looking forward to finishing the rest of the DLC and then hitting the road trying to find the rest of the Super Orcs (or whatever they are called).

Bought this game for 17 bucks off Amazon, also picked up Killzone 2. I'm looking forward to this game, I know I am late to the party, but I hope the combat system doesn't disappoint.

It doesn't really disappoint imo. It won't be as good as a regular FPS (like Halo, COD, or BC2), but the VATS System is such a blast once you get used to it. You'll just have to decide what weapons you would like to use early on in the game and put the points into those. Enjoy it. The only thing I have left to do in the game is the Mothership Zeta DLC. But right now I'm too busy exploring places I haven't been and entering into all the buildings (dungeons) I've never been in. 80+ hours on one character and I still cannot get bored with this game.

This game is simply epic. I've played this game 100 times more then any game I currently own. I'm almost at level 20 with 5 followers at this point and have discovered many many locations.

          have fun

Going to reinstall Fallout 3. Never got really far the first time through, but now I have all of the DLC. I'm also going to install some mods, there are some real good ones. Looking forward to playing it again.

              . Definitely was cool.

I've been playing this game a lot lately which is amazing because I just bought the Show last week yet I'm still playing this more.
I dont know if that Building would be Scary in a Horror game but it was so surprising and a complete change of pace it will catch you off guard.

I'm really enjoying this game a lot more than I realized I would. VATS is awesome, really wishing I would have bought into the game at release. Just finished GNR quest for father and making sure I hit as many side quest as possible. Now I am just kicking myself for not getting the game of the year addition with all the DLC. Oh well learned my lesson.

So after two months of not gaming (life gets busy), I finally ripped open the seal on this thing (I posted way, way back that I was playing but that was a rental and I didn't get very far at all. Maybe only 5 hours in. Waste of a rental).

I was playing Dead Space, but I got a bit tired of playing a 3PS. I also got stuck in one part and I didn't really have the energy to figure it out.

I've been wanting to play this game for over a year so I'm excited that I'm back in. I can't wait to get home tonight and play some more (season finales and less work projects means more gaming time!).

Without telling me how it is done, is there something you're supposed to do to get the dog? Or is it completely random? There is a dog right? I thought I read about that.

I figured it'd be some place like that. Cool. Thanks!

Yeah I played through the whole game without the dog, later realizing I had missed it. Makes for a great excuse to go back and play again, me thinks.

The best thing about Dogmeat is that the bad guys or evil monster will attack him and never bother you...most of the time. Crouch and head shot. I've claimed so many lives that way with my trusty Lincoln Repeater. Just don't let the giant scorpions or deathclaws hit him too many times
