I don't know about your own crib, but the crutches I've seen randomly in houses, etc.

This game is addicting! Last night I played until 3 just because "I want to finish this quest". Killing 3 more mole rats turned into a couple hour exploring a sewer, killing raiders, etc. So damn fun!

I found a few crutches at the Red Racer factory. It's just southeast of Megaton. I have so much stuff stored in my lockers at home just in case I need them for a schematic.

I just got my home and I'm so glad to have lockers so I can store stuff....Next I need the +50 carry weight perk (I'm not going for strong, so I can only carry 200 and gets frustrating).

                  *edit*

The weapons power (and sneak bonuses) make this game awesome once you get used to it. I snuck on a group of 5 raiders just talking in a circle. I lobbed a frag grenade at the middle one and killed them all. Awesome cutscene type thing too (using VATS). Just sweer to watch.

Yes...sneaking is a great way to get critical strikes.
                      Love it.
Like Skyboxer....I just can't find anything I don't like about this game.
What do you guys do with Dogmeat as far as combat?
I had her(I know it's a male in the game....but MY DM is a girl) die and I don't like it.....
If you tell her to stay put(away from combat) do the baddies go after her anyway(I only had a chance to play a little since finding her)?
I've got the PC version and I'm really hoping for some excellent mods!

If you rent a room in Rivet city you can store all of your stuff. And it's beside the market.

Yeah...I will say that it took me a couple hours to fully get the hang of everything and really start to get into the VATS system and all the other combat stuff. Now that I'm level 8 I'm tearing it up, but have to go slow and quiet (stealth/snipe is how I'm building myself), otherwise I'll get killed by some guys. The shotgun sometimes rescues me, but depending on that isn't a good plan lol

I got lucky. This guy started shooting at me, so I fired back with the sniper rifle and took him out in a few shots, and he fell backwards off of his perch to the ground, allowing me to loot him. The Reservist Rifle is totally worth it too.

If I were you, i'd save from a distance, run up and take him out and see if he falls. If not, reload and try again.
