Re: Fallout 3 Website Is Now Up
I have this game and Fable 2 pre-ordered. Between NBA 2K9, Fable 2, and Fallout 3 it is going to be a great and busy month to be a gamer on 360. Then I'll check out November's release slate ...Favorite Sports Teams
NFL - Carolina Panthers
NBA - Charlotte Hornets
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: Fallout 3 Website Is Now Up
will this game be as in depth as oblivion? like when you played oblivion you could play for like 2 days and do 8 million things and really not dent the story or the game porogress. will this game be like that, where it just owns you for a few months?Comment

Re: Fallout 3 Website Is Now Up
From everything i've read yes. Dungeon quests are 'replaced' by abandoned subways, the map is enormous (although I believe not quite as big as Oblivion, just much more dense), and as in Oblivion, there can be side quests tied to other side quests and such. Not to mention that the customization, particularly in the guns, looks awesome. The ability to find or buy blueprints to build crazy guns from scrap sounds awesome, and there are plenty of previews out there to show you the type of crazy guns you can build. I wouldn't worry about you not being able to get wrapped up in Oblivion, as from everything i've read, all of the bad parts of Oblivion are fixed in Fallout 3.Comment

First Review Hits
From our friends at NMA comes news that Fallout 3’s first review has been unleashed on the wild. This coming from French magazine PC JEUX:
Thus, the fear that Fallout 3 could be a post-apocalyptic Oblivion is totally gone. A few hours with the game will be enough for Fallout veterans to get their habits back and be able to walk with confidence through the game. New players will not feel totally lost either because references to the previous games are rather scarce and discrete. If most changes brought to the series are technical, the spirit is still there, sort of. Indeed, it’s a shame that this episode is so serious. It has lost, it seems, a good deal of the humour and even irony that was part of the series. Cinematographic references or completely twisted conversations with NPCs are gone. Aside from this, Fallout 3 is an excellent RPG and a good Fallout. The score is rather different but the music stays the same.
They’ve given the game a score of 93%, noting a good variety of quest types and also multiple resolutions for said quests while complaining about a few technical hang ups.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Fallout 3 Website Is Now Up
Had a deal at Gamestop, get extra $5 for every game you trade in. Had to jump on that and preordered Fallout for about $10 paid in full!
I'm very pumped! I'm gonna hold off on Fable and play this one first.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: Fallout 3 Website Is Now Up
Oblivion snuck on me earlier last year, as I had never even heard of it until I saw it at EB. I went home, read about it, and zoomed back to EB to pick it up. I wound up playing that for about 8 straight months in big chunks at a time. As soon as I heard Bethesda was in on another open world game, let alone a Fallout game, I immediately was pumped. Now it's only a mere 20 days away, and I can't wait!Comment
