I just beat the game and like a couple people said before the ending is so anti-climatic and sneaks up on you. You will beat the game and not even know you are at the end. I think the main story needs more substance. The game was awesome and I saved prior to beating it, so I'm going to finish out the side quests. Great game, but disappointed in the main quest.

Re: Fallout 3
I never really got hooked on Oblivion but I decided to try this out after reading this thread. It took me a couple of hours to get into it but I'm having fun now. I just got my house in Megatron and am planning on taking it slow and doing the side quests.
I'm a good character who tries to avoid losing karma but I'm wondering how much different the game is if you're evil. What happens if you decide to blow up Megatron?Comment

Yeah, I'm gonna be one evil bastard my 2nd play through. It's actually cool to have the multiple playthroughs, because so much is different based on how you play.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

YEAH RIGHT!! lol"Because he's the hero Gotham deserves...but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him...because he can take it...because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector...the Dark Knight."Comment

Re: Fallout 3
Found this.. looks like the "Cue Gun" is gonna be sweet have to start looking for parts.
Fuel Mine
Parts: motorcycle tank, vodka, sensor unit, turpentine
Skill: Explosives
Effect: mine that explodes and sets enemies on fire (d'uh)
Note: great for clearing rooms
Gammatron
Parts: laser rifle, plasma rifle, conductor, fission battery
Skill: Energy Weapons
Effect: Energy rifle that shoots bursts of gamma radiation
Note: being a custom, hay wired design, this one has a tendency (related to weapon condition) to go critical and blow up (similar to the cars). In such an event it is strongly suggested to drop the weapon and hide behind a thick lead wall.
Jump-Pack
Parts: Combat armor, motorcycle tank, vodka, turpentine
Skill: ???
Effect: A truly mad design by a genius mind. At least that's what you were told. This "armor" allows the user to jump to incredible hights. Sadly it does nothing to ensure a safe landing. It should also be noted that the design has the tendency to set the user on fire.
Note: doubles/triples jump height, 15% chance to set the user on fire, 2% chance to explode violently. Powered by alcohol in the players inventory.
Cue gun
Parts: surgical tubing, scrap metal, paint gun, nailboard
Skill: Big Guns
Effect: a somewhat insane yet functional design that's effectively a crossbow firing pool cues to impale some poor schmuck
Note: uses pool cues as ammo, short range but large damage
#8 Pool Mine
Parts: sensor unit, turpentine, scrap metal, 8 pool balls
Skill: Explosives
Effect: mine that explodes and "shoots" 8 pool balls away from the center of explosion
Note: great for clearing roomsLast edited by Darkleaf; 11-09-2008, 07:49 PM.Comment

Re: Fallout 3
Question on a sniper rifle:
SpoilerAt the Dickinson Tabernackle (I think that's what it is), kinda in the Northwest, there's a drifter that snipes with the Reservist Rifle...but he's on a 2nd floor that I can't seem to get to, so when I kill him I can't loot...am I missing something?"Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: Fallout 3
This game is really, really fun. Playing it is so effortless, you just flow from one thing to the next. I thought it would be great, but its better than that, its a Masterpiece.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Man, this is one amazing game. I love how you can pretty much adventure anywhere, and there is always something to do. Game of the year IMO

SpoilerSave before you go into the rotunda room or you could save before you even go into the Jefferson Memorial just to be safe. But I think you're in the clear as long as you save before you go into the room with the small laboratory in the round room (rotunda), since it told me I couldn't leave the room.Comment
