This is no Beta.... this is Halo 3. Really in my mind, the only reason to own a 360.

I may love halo BUT IT IS NOT THE ONLY REASON TO OWN A 360

games like Gears,C&C and future games like Halo Wars and Mass Effect are other games

It's crazy the effect Halo has on people. I saw yesterday that somebody found a loophole to get in the beta. People are willing to violate the TOS of XBL just to play the beta 2 days early. :y4:

Anyways, I'm hoping Bungie allows for than just 4 vs 4 on Wednesday or at some point during the beta.

I am really tempted to buy a used or new Crackdown and then trying to return it after the Beta.

I bought Crackdown for this moment but then i actually fell in love with it....the game is really fun

5am PDT is allegedly the start time for the public beta...

and yes any crackdown disc (even rental if it was a copy with the Halo3 sticker) will allow you to DL the beta but you need the disc in the tray to play the beta.

I don't think mine has the Halo 3 sticker. I looked at all of them for something, but nothing was on them.

My scheme may fail.

Pardon my ignorance, but if I were to rent Crackdown, how exactly could I ensure that it would contain access to the Beta? I really don't trust asking an employee at Blockbuster because they are probably as clueless as I am.
