Bungie has said the campaign length will be similar to Halo 1 and 2. It may even be shorter if you play on easy or normal, since those difficulty levels are even more easier than in the previous games. You will see a lot less on those levels; less encounters, less enemies in encounters, weapons, vehicles, ect. I would say most will be able to finish the campaign in 8-12 hours, but I think the replay value is going to be much higher than in the previous games, because of 4 player co-op, meta-game, and skulls.

This was uncovered during the beta, but some may not remember or have seen it. It's a compiled list of all the options in custom games. Yes, all of it is still in the final game, along with more game modes and options. Impressive stuff.

I haven't played any Halo since the XBOX came out and I never finished it either. I also never played a second of Halo 2 but I'm probably going to pick part 3 up simply because of how many people will be playing online.

I give credit to their marketing for getting me intrigued.

You are an advertiser's dream. The Single player campaign's were a blast to play, especially if you did some co-op action. Very fun. Expect the same from Halo 3.

Everyone hates on Halo 2 single player but I thought it was awesome action wise. There was always a big battle waiting to happen compared to Halo 1 w/ its repititive environments over and over.

Halo 3 should be nuts.

I agree with you Xavier, I thought Halo 2's single-player was great. I even thought playing as the Arbiter was cool, something alot of people complained about.

There were so many memorable moments and huge battles. I still pop the game in every now and then and play through some of my favorite levels. I love Delta Halo!

Just got a 360 back from repair and I'm ready to go. I'm looking forward to SP, Co-op campaign, and MP. This game will be playable for a looooonnngg time.

I started the original Halo, never finished. Owned Halo 2 for 2 years and never touched the single player. That said, I preordered Halo 3 Tuesday. More than likely will pick it up on Tuesday after work.

Didn't this happen with the first Halo. Looked bad until right before release and it was stunning (at the time). Those pics are just sick. I'm starting to get a little excited for this game, still not enough to get it at midnight though.

The 4 player co-op, along with what looks to be a great campaign mode, has me very excited for this game.

I'm definately getting excited, but don't see myself getting it at midnight. I'll just get it at lunch like I normally do.
