I'm definately getting excited, but don't see myself getting it at midnight. I'll just get it at lunch like I normally do.

I agree...........I can wait till midnight. Though I really like the Halo 360, I saw it at Best Buy today.

Is that a limited edition 360?

Yes, it's a limited edition 360. Has the HDMI port, and a 20GB hard drive.

Nah, you'll be able to find it somewhere. I remember the day Halo 2 came out, I went to Target Tuesday night at like 9 at night to get something else and I went by and there were tons of copies left. I'm sure they are manufacturing an insane amount of copies.

preodering came across my mind as well, but there's a gamestop close to where I work and I know I can get it on my way home, there's never anybody in that store.

If you're not pre-ordering, I would go to a Target/Walmart or someplace that doesn't take pre-orders.

Just my suggestion. I've always had luck at the stores that don't do pre-orders but Gamestop/EB never seem to have extra copies of the big releases on release day.

I'd definately stay away from Gamestop/EB if you didn't pre-order. Although this might be the exception, but usually the bigger releases they only have a handful of extra copies.

Which they usually say they can't sell until they make sure every pre-order has been given a copy of the game and all of that.

FYI, Target does have pre-ordering and Walmart (not sure how many of them) will be having there own check-out lanes specifically for Halo 3. kinda funny.
