I don't if anybody posted this earlier, but if you pre-order Halo 3 from Best Buy, you can get 1600 XBL points for $4.99 (normally $19.99). I might do this since I'm going to get Halo 3 anyway on Tuesday.

Hey, what do you guys think of Halo 3's "Believe" Campaign? Have you seen all the commercials available on the marketplace?

Normally, I do not like game advertisments that do not show you plenty of gameplay (don't like the ones that only show you a game's CG cinematics for example), but I think the angle Bungie and Microsoft are going with this "Believe" campaign is very unique and actually has gotten me pretty siked to "Finish the fight!".

I give it two thumbs up.

The HD version of the ViDOC is up on the marketplace. Just watched it, just amazing all the stuff they've done.

And I'd like to echo what some of you have said about the commercials. I just now watched them on the Marketplace and they're great.

Well, I found someone with Halo 3 in stock, but he's scared to death of selling it to me. We had a nice little talk today, and he told me to call back tomorrow. I'll see what happens.

He says he was forced to sign an agreement that forbids him from selling it before Wed. or he risks being fined $100,000. He also mentioned something about MS banning anyone caught playing it on XBL before then, but I told him that was complete bull****.

print him off that Microsoft statement they released a few days ago. That could help.

Looking at mygamercard.net, no one has played the retail version yet on XBL.

I find myself barely able to stand five minutes next to the idiots in the Madden midnight release. Don't know if I can do this.

You guys think people will show up at GS at like 9 or 10? I have it pre-ordered and me and a couple buddies plan on taking Tuesday off work to play this late Monday night. But I'm still debating.

The midnight releases are actually fun, but the idiots start trash talking..in line, with no way to back it up, gets annoying. Also, the morons who won't give you their XBL tag to back it up either are funny. I watch these people go back in forth in lines for Madden for years for midnight releases.

I get there between 10-10:30 to get it set up in line. Bring my DS, and wait till I get my game.

The only thing I've ever tried to get at midnight was the PS2 and I failed miserably at that. I've never gone to pick a game up. With the following that Halo has, I'm sure the crazies will be out in full force.
