If this game tanks at retail.........maybe they might be forced to release these tracks as DLC on the 360. I was at Best Buy today, and they must have had about 60+ copies on the shelf.

Re: Guitar Hero 80's Edition
I just got done with Medium and I gotta say I enjoyed it. Yeah some of the songs sucked and the game should've been cheaper, because really it was an expansion pack, but I had fun. Overall a great addition to my guitar hero collection.Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 80's Edition
I know that this has been discussed in the past, but will that adaptor for the PS3 work with the PS2 GH guitar? Was it the wammy bar that didn't work?
Like EG, I still love 80's tunes.....and I wish I could play this darn game.Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 80's Edition
The reports of this gaming sucking are NOT true!
I have this game pumping though my Bose system and it sounds fine to me. Ya the Go- Go's dont belong in the game but I can get over that. I guess I like it because I grew up on all of these songs. No One Like You is a blast to play... back to the game -------->Last edited by Brian_OS; 07-24-2007, 08:12 PM.Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 80's Edition
Of course they did. It just came out today, and based on how popular the first two games in the series were, they figured this one would be in high demand as well. Why wouldn't they order a ton of copies? It isn't like everyone and their brother is going to run out and buy it the first day, either.Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 80's Edition
Put me in the minority, but I am 13 songs through and have loved 11 of them. This game owns and is a worthy addition to my GH library. After getting ripped by EA for another $65 from NCAA, I am happy to get my gaming back and only at $25.Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 80's Edition
I'm enjoying the game a lot. I played through the first 4 tiers last night. I can't say I like all the songs, but I liked at least 2 or 3 per tier. I do know that Romantics song is hard to me on the Hard level. Sheesh, hardest overall song on the game so far for me through the first 4 tiers.
My favorite song on the soundtrack is Skid Row's song. I don't think their cover of it is very good, but I expected that. I think Sebastian Bach has one of the coolest and most unique voices in rock and I knew they weren't going to be able to cover him accurately. The song is still fun to play, but pretty easy IMO.Last edited by aukevin; 07-27-2007, 08:16 AM.
