Finally got around to opening up my copy tonight. What a fun game. To me, playing this with the Wii remote and nunchuck makes it even better. I only passed the 1st two stars of the egg planet but I'm having a blast. The graphics are great, but I'll tell you what I love...the music. It's perfect for the game. Really nice score.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy
How do you complete a galaxy? I got the comet star for the egg galaxy and I still haven't completed it. What more is left?

Re: Super Mario Galaxy
To answer that would be revealing a spoiler...nothing that huge, but a spoiler nonetheless...if there are no question marks above a star, and you get the comet star for that one then just move on, it'll let you know if you have to go back, in some way or another.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Super Mario Galaxy
So, in other words, if I have all the star slots filled in and the comet star, then move on? I think I've gotten all the stars from the first two domes - at least the ones I know about. The comets are pretty fun though - they make it interesting. The single-star galaxies are tough.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy
How's everyone doing so far star wise? I've got 50 stars now, and I'm about halfway done with the, er, bedroom observatory.
Now I'm trying to pace myself more, maybe get a few stars each day to let the game last longer.
I love the level design in this game. While there are no vast territories, some of the mid size levels are just brilliant."You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams

Re: Super Mario Galaxy
I love the various throwbacks to the original SMB games in Galaxy - definitely reminds me of the older levels.
