Re: Heavy Rain (PS3)
This thread reminded me that I need to play through again and have my GF watch. I think she'd enjoy the choices you have to make.
I'm not sure she'd make it through the mall scene with the ending and all (trying not to spoil, anyone who's played knows what I'm referring to)...Last edited by mgoblue; 03-09-2011, 07:58 PM.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Heavy Rain (PS3)
I beat it in two days.
I can't remember how many hours I played, but I was addicted to it. I had a few days off work with no plans and once I started playing.. I couldn't stop.
Of course, I showered, eat, and took breaks to leave the house.. but I still spent hours at a time with it.Comment

Re: Heavy Rain (PS3)
Not long, probably 8 hours or so. I went through and beat it to get all the different endings, that probably extended the game to about 16-20 hours. I probably beat the game 10 times to get all the endings, but you only have to start from halfway, to 3/4ths of the way through to alter your endings. I played from start to finish twice. I thought the game started out pretty slow and I wasn't very excited about it early, but once the game gets going you keep playing for sure.

This is definitely a "Once you start, you can't stop" type of game. Really hoping for a sequel as well. Amazing game!Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Fool me three times, **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.

Re: Heavy Rain (PS3)
I got this game last Tuesday and just beat it this past Saturday. This game was one of the main reasons that I wanted a PS3. I almost bit at it being $39 but never pulled the trigger. When it was announced as a greatest hits and put at $29 I couldn't wait anymore. I put maybe an hour or two into each day that I played it. At the price I feel that it was well worth my money. My wife watched me play and thought the game was stupid, however, as it progressed she got into it and even tried to help me figure out ways to progress. Overall, this was a great game and I will play it again and again and again.Comment
