Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
Well it took until chapter 11/12 but I finally have a big complaint...
SpoilerI've stated a few times in other game topics how I hate starting from the bottom in every single game. Starting from the bottom THREE times is ridiculous. Thankfully I got the CE so still had a great car and suit as that stuff doesn't disappear with the rest of it.Comment

SpoilerFor some reason the fire doesn't get rid of any of the cars in your garage. Go check. I still had all mine.
Only thing I lost was suits. And that made me sad.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
For PC users there is a free-ride mod:
You start out at Joes with no weapons and your jacket, but $500 and a lot of cars in the garage as well as a working (though buggy) follow/wait system with Joe and Henry outside the garage. There are no icons as you have to discover places first.
Seems like it was released pretty recently so it is a little buggy but stll functioning and fun and it seems like there will be more features added soon.
Also wanted to comment on two little robbing-tidbits I've noticed the past few days playing the game. First I like the crime-tape going up if you kill the owner. (and the place is locked up, have to kick it down or pick the lock) Also I was playing free-ride and robbed a clothing store then like 5-10 minutes later after driving I drove by that same one and saw two cop icons in the store. I went in and heard the cops talking to the lady and they asked for a description, she said he was "scary" and then all of a sudden she said "well, actually he looked just like that guy over there" and the cops came to arrest me, pretty cool.(i'm sure its been noticed before)

Ha, I noticed those when I was getting the achievement for the 360. Gun shops are the most fun to rob. Nobody seemed to care about me robbing the gas station, ha.

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
I like the fancy clothing stores to rob just cause it's more difficult. (usually with the gun store when cops are clear I go in, quickly take a gun out and go for a headshot and then steal the money/if I don't have anything, steal ammo and such and leave quickly) But sometimes I like to try for a "last stand" and that western-type bar on the right (main area), top right is my favorite.Comment

Re: Mafia II (PS3/360)
Sometimes the regular clothing stores would have customers packing, so I stopped stealing/robbing those because they're too small for unexpected gun fights. The fancy one is easy but you can't go back for awhile.

Hopefully some good PC mods come out to add length/more stuff to do.Comment

I tried knocking over a diner and I found out I was in the Greasers' neighborhood, haha.

SpoilerNo, but they were dusty from sitting for so long. I though that was a nice touch.
I do agree that the whole fire thing and losing all your cash was kind of silly.Comment
