I am not discrediting the rave demo reviews...but there has to be weaknesses if it is getting 7 and 8's across reviews. It simply can't be purely Rockstar bias...

Plus, the attention to detail is quite amazing so I'm sure there's LOTS of things I haven't even seen.

It was the attention to detail that made the first game so great.

Just tried the demo out on my PC and wow, this game is good! I've never played the first one so this came as a pleasant surprise. Definitely gonna get this when it comes out.

Can you please tell your specs and what settings you used for this game - how well it ran?

its like GTA if you choose not to follow the story you're pretty much free to drive around the city...

i didnt know they had speed limit laws in this game as i was speeding through the high way the cops started chasing me! thats sweet!

Same thing was in the first game. You could set the speed to never go over the speed limit, though.

By the way, for those PS3 users, I suggest downloading PSN Download manager. It sets up a proxy so you can download things from PSN at a much faster speed. You can only download things you have purchased or is free and will not be used to illegally obtain content. The PSN takes like half an hour or more just to download a mere 1GB file, but depending on your internet connection you could download that very same file in 10 minutes or less.

Well for crack down right before you started the demo you unplugged your ethernet cord and it then came up on xbox that you were disconected. You replugged the cable and continued. It froze the time counter.

No it's something a PS3 user has created. It's been around for awhile and I believe it has just been updated this week.
