Has anyone found it near CT, i know people who found it in the Bronx but that is a little too far for me to go just to get it a couple days early

framerate is silky smooth and the load times during gameplay in terms of check point saves and loading is fast... when you load a game or start the game the load is not slow at all... i say about 10 seconds

There is no load times its like Halo 1, Everything is cached on the Hard Drive if you have one. Also the game loads the level as you are selecting things when you first start and while cutscenes are going. Halo 2 sucked with the load times in Halo 3 its all transparent loading happens while the cutscenes are playing.!!!!

Big thanks to the guys for the impressions. It's tempering the wait for me very well. I'm not sure if this has been answered, so if it has I apologize, but which versions did you guys get?

I just got the regular version....my wife would kill me if I bought any of the other versions, she's not into collectibles too much. lol....

Does anyone know if they brought back Clan Matches in Matchmaking? And if they did do they have Major and Minor Clan Matches like they use to in Halo 2?

There's no clan support in Halo 3.

the cut scenes rival the graphics of Gears of War IMO... the graphics take a small hit when you're playing the game but nothing DRASTIC where it's night and day between the two... the teammate AI are awesome... and i'm playing on Heroic and gettin my *** handed to me... gameplay is on the smooth side and so are the controls... the lighting in this game is GODLY.. i'm loving campaign so far..

Ok I have 1 question, are the other two elites that the 3rd and forth players play as in multiplayer in the single player campaign?????? Just pm me the answer I dont want this to spoil anything for anyone. I just want to no if they appear not how they appear.

Set it on Heroic and it's a challenge. Especially if you're on your own.

The enemy AI one liners are HILARIOUS. The action thus far is great, the pace is to my liking.. already a MUCH better time than Halo 2's campaign. I'm only on the first level too, can't wait to see what develops.

Well matchmaking isn't up, so the only way to play online right now is if you have friends that have it. This blows.

HB, can you access MM at least right now? Are there options for example to join/create no shield matches?

You can select it and create a lobby but there's no options as to what playlist you can select right now. So I'm guessing the servers for that isn't up yet. You can make custom games though but I don't see an option for no shields.

Edit: Actually let me correct myself, in custom games you can have no shields. It was buried deep in the weapon settings.
