They're just pretty hard to find. You pretty much have to be looking for them.

I wish I was more of an old detective movie buff because stuff like this cracks me up.. After playing this morning, I started watching The Big Sleep with Humphrey Bogart (the game got me in the mood). Early in the flick he visits Geiger Bookstore.

After the flick was over, I started playing "The Driver Seat" & when you go to F. Morgan's appt to arrest Adrian Black, the bookstore next to theapartment is Geiger Bookstore.

Coincidental or not its pretty cool.

There's lots of stuff like that. All the movies on the marquees are real too.

I backed the car over the bumper of a curb and got case failed for contaminating the crime scene. As opposed to the complete lack of wearing gloves while handling evidence.

0 graphical problems to report. Ya'll know I find those.
I am playing in black and white so maybe I just haven't noticed.

I'd bet on it just being more of the fat PS3's kicking the bucket just like my first one did...are there any reports of which consoles are overheating/dying?

Also, doesn't it seem like this topic comes up with any new release? Couldn't be because people leave their consoles on for hours at a time playing said new game, right? (something I'm totally guilty of as well, btw )

I really hated the way Homicide ended. We just bust the killer of 5 and possibly more women and we're not gonna out him just cause he's related to a higher-up in the government? Bull****, I want his corpse paraded around the streets. But, god, if shooting him didn't feel great. Navigating the catacombs was absolute HELL and to finally find him, great.


Vice is fun cause I get to drive a convertible. I like convertibles.

I just can't believe there were people here saying this game wouldn't have any replayability. That couldn't be any further from the truth.

Exactly. There's not many games that I play and when I finish a part I immediately want to play it again before going forward with the game. This is one of those games though.

Man, I completely screwed the pooch with the The Golden Butterfly case. Only 1*. I'm going to have to give that one another go sometime this weekend.

Well, the whole homicide desk is related to the real-life case of the Black Dahlia, an unsolved murder. Even goes so far as to name-drop Elizabeth Short and have her Social Security Card as a clue, leaving no doubt that the guy is being portrayed as Short's killer as well as the other (fictional) women. I think R* and Team Bondi were just trying to offer up a possible take on the outcome of the case without rewriting known history (which is exactly what would have happened had the killer's death been made public).

Damn, that one room in the catacombs was creepy after knowing how each of the victims died...

Wow this game is really amazing, but I was worried it was going to be too easy. But after I got promoted to traffic, all the tutorials went away and then the game was challenging. LA Noire is such a nice change of pace because it's so unique!!

Beginning to really like the game. It has a nice mixture of drama and action. I'd say this game is a nice blend of GTA and Heavy Rain.

Also, I've missed exactly one clue on every case since "A Marriage Made in Heaven". One day I'll get all the clues in a case.

Same here....what gives? Ive searched everywhere, sometimes for like 20 minutes and still miss one thing. I got 5* on the Golden Butterfly. Thought it was one of the easier ones to predict. I did use 4 inuitions though.
