Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Man I only got two stars on The Golden Butterfly. I was totally thrown off by the ending, can anyone clarify?
SpoilerSo I charged the husband with the murder, since the evidence overwhelmingly pointed to him, but I guess I was supposed to charge the pedo because the captain basically told me to before I went in with the interview? Is that why when I walked out he was so pissed off, or is that just part of the storyline?Go Yankees
Go Rangers
Go Giants

Also while riding around, the partner rambled on about how the world could use one less pedophile on the street while avoiding making a little girl an orphan...and the post case notes said as much also. Seems like we were supposed to ignore the evidence and charge the wrong person lol!Comment

SpoilerI charged the pedo, though honestly that case felt only half investigated by the time you had to charge someone (no checking the coveralls against the coveralls used at their employers, no tests on the bloody shoe he was trying to burn, no questioning the friend about the rabbits, no search of pedo's house, etc).
Speculation after playing through White Shoe Murder
SpoilerI get the feeling all these guys are set up, it all seems too easy, shady guys who will be standoffish with the cops who just happen to have a bloody murder weapon sitting around. One thing we haven't been given the option of investigating, all these women get drunk at a bar and it seems these bars always have a temp bartender, that struck me after the second murder case.Comment

Also make sure to pay attention to the witnesses you interview. Their information can be used against another suspect later on in the investigation.Comment
