I agree, one of the most engaging SP modes in a FPS. I find the SP even more fun than Halo 3....***GULP***

I'm not easily impressed, but this game may have the best graphics I ever seen.

Yeah I just finished and am amazed, I really liked Halo 3's single player but I think COD4's is much better. Can't wait to play arcade and online now.

Damn, P...thats my time also, 19.25.

Shamefully, it took me well over an hour and at least 25 tries.

This is the most addicting online game I've ever played by far.

I would go as far as to say this is (imo) one of if not the best game ever made.

The SP is awesome (although a little short) and is so much fun it will get played through more than by most people and MP is outstanding and gets even better everytime it play.

Anyone who passes on this as "just another FPS" is missing out. Love this game!

Re: Call of Duty 4 - Impressions

I loved COD 2. Didn't play COD 3. Is this game your typical sequal? Is it just like the previous COD games with different levels and a couple of new weapons?

I was thinking about picking this game up. The only games I play are sports games and Halo 3. Do you guys think I would like it?

I'm lazy and didn't want to read throught the whole thread to get an opinion. Sorry

As a new Xbox owner, this game absolutely kills. The graphics are amazing, just WOW. The gun-fights are intense as Hell and the little bit of multiplayer I have played has been awesome.

I absolutely loved COD2 as well as the expansion pack United Offensive...the feel of the game is like that of previous COD games with intense battles only its set on modern times...Halo is weak compared to this...the single player missions are far more epic and immersive than the ones in Halo 3

If your going PC with this they have some 48 player servers online popping up already...lag free!!

How is this game on single player? Reviews say it is short. Is this true or can you get a long and enjoyable game in single player? I really want to try a shooter but have no idea what to get and would feel more comfortalbe with a single player game at this time.

                              Thanks

I'm playing on hardened and I'm well past 6-7 hours. I'm stuck on the next to last mission and can't get past it. Hands down, one of the most incredible single player experiences I've ever played.
