No offense to anyone, I'm just being straight up: No one from OS gives me trouble, really. Most of my losses come from using Fei Long, who I'm garbage with, and Rufus, who is really new. Ken is undefeated, and Guile is either undefeated, or has lost once.

I probably have a 98% win ratio against OS, and even then some of the losses come from messing around. Online hasn't been that much better though. I've fought one person who was better than me, one person who is evenly matched with me(though I won more) and a close friend from HS who has good timing, and can steal a 35% win ratio against me regularly.

If I had to give it to someone, I guess it'd be Mo, but I have a feeling Rufus might have figured out Cammy, as she was shut out pretty convincingly in our last head to head.


I'm sure the gap will close somewhat as guys play more, but right now it's not looking good

Actually, I have to give credit to ShogunFlow and Blanka. Blanka v. Rufus was the first OS matchup I had that I felt wasn't in my favor, besides my garbage *** Fei Long v. Anyone. I still think Blanka has great chances in that matchup. Now vs. Guile.....

Mo has the best defense on OS though.

I dont know why its so laggy. Im using a wired connection and it still shows me as 1 bar...maybe something wrong with the system? And then theres times where I play someone with one bar and it runs silky smooth so I dunno..

Yeah, I switched over to a wired system two weeks ago as well. Let's try again late tonight.

I want to go to Capcom's headquarters and ask why they chose not to have a lobby system akin to the XBLA and PSN versions of SFII. I'd love to be in a quarter match and watch fights as well as participate in them.

I think I saw Linty ask about El Fuerte, and I can answer that after playing with him pretty much exclusively.

Two words describe playing with him: Organized Chaos.

His mix-up game is unbelievable. The Habanero Dash has 6 different ways to come out (Stop, Jumping Hit, Jumping Throw, Stop and Spin Backward, Middle Hit, and Low hit). Combine that with the fact that you can run forwards or backwards (and switch up in the middle, or bounce off the far wall and come running back), and you have backflip into a throw if you are running away and they come to chase you, PLUS you can run at 3 different speeds, and you have your opponent guessing the entire time. If you have any full combo bars, you can use two punch buttons to start the dash and absorb one hit (you will take the damage) and continue to with the dash.

He also has one of the best anti-air moves in the game, Forward-Down-DownForward + Kick. He jumps into the air and throws the opponent to the ground with a head scissors.

His wall jump is good for countering fireballers, and you control where on the screen he comes down and can burn right back into the Dash. Hell, half the time they see the wall jump they hit a counter to it without me coming anywhere near them because they think I am going to go back into speed mode.

The issue is you really, really need to be quick on the buttons and react very well to use him. It took me a good 20-25 matches to understand what situations to use what. Also, you have to be willing to wait on your opponent at times. There are times where, after 10 seconds of back and forth non-stop speed fighting, that I stop El Fuerte across the screen and wait for the opponent to take the first step. That can be a long wait, especially if your opponent is trying to get his bearings.

And then, there is his biggest downfall - He is essentially a fast marshmallow with an easy to avoid ultra. He is very light hitting, and takes a good amount of damage per hit. This makes fighting guys like Sagat and Akuma tough, with their combination of survivability and stregnth, plus ranged ability. His combos, while decent, are pretty weak, which makes them get in and get out moves.

Still, he is my go to right now, because as Cyros said a while ago, I just like to play the guy that no one else is (i.e. Navy in NCAA). I'm not going to lie to you, a lot of what I do with him is based on surprise and mix-up, and eventually people may pick up on it. It is a complete gimmick offense choosing him to go into battle. But I haven't seen too many people use him, so I have that going for me.

Agree with whoever said the arcade fight request mode is awesome - that's a fantastic feature.

Managed to beat Ryu's 2nd Hard trial, and did get another gold title - "Hungry Fighter" for it. Pretty sweet.

Still getting my tail kicked in online matches, though.
