I might (keyword might) be getting on at 3.a.m. if I can manage to get everything I need to get done today and get to bed early so I can play a bit before work at 8. Although I've never taken a day off from work for a video game I kind of wish I would have lol.

In fact thinking back I had probably some of the most fun just playing the game and enjoying the whole experience of discovery etc.... I may not even come back into here for quite a while....

It's times like these, that I get sad about not having a very good PC... just a basic laptop.

I know I've said it a hundred times, but I really need to build me one.

Hopefully it is more optimized. Everything passes on System Requirements Lab except for my CPU. Currently running an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz. Hopefully that's enough. Like I said, the beta ran pretty well, minus some slowdown when big groups of baddies were on screen.

EDIT: Had the wrong CPU specs. Updated them in post.

I just built one after realizing that I needed a better computer for this game. And let me tell you... I just got done 2 weeks ago with it and decided to play Starcraft II on it to see how much of an upgrade it was to my 5 year old laptop and WOW! It's like playing a completely different game. That and I learned a lot about computer in the process. Now I might buy Battlefield 3 for the PC and see how good it is compared to the PS3 version I have.

If you have the money for the parts to build one I highly recommend it.

Yeah my laptop doesn't even meet the minimum, but it'll still run based off the beta. Only requirement missed was the video card, but i'm home for summer so i'll use my dad's comp when I can.

I'll be getting a new macbook eventually and the ones i'm looking at will at least meet the min unlike my current laptop

Anyone going to be first playing this at around 2 or 2:30 PM EST tomorrow? I'd like to get a group going, I need 2 more to tag along with a friend of mine. I would rather not play with someone who's been playing most of the day and will basically just run through the parts you've done already.

EDIT: Oh wow scratch that... Amazon just texted me the estimated arrival time is 8PM tomorrow. WTF!! First time every has release date delivery been that late for me.

It's possible to have the game downloaded, installed, and ready to play already - I can get to the title screen, in fact. But the servers don't go live until 2 AM Central, so that's pretty much the first time you can actually start playing.
