Played EQ for several years, never had a chance to play CoN, more games need a Diablo-style game for their universes.

All of the games based on the original EQ Universe (EQ1, Champions of Norrath, EQ:OA) were surprisingly fantastic for their times.

I bug SoE and them on Twitter every now and again for another Champion's game, haha.

Yeah, I ping Smed from time to time about it too. Played PoE, pretty fun, just missing the eye candy and polish of Diablo.

There's also D&D Daggerdale and LotR: War in the North. Anyone give these a whirl ?

Champions of Norrath....haven't heard of that game in years, it was outstanding for its time. I know many figured it would be a horrific game based on an MMO, but they did an outstanding job on that.

I was/am a big fan of Champions of Norrath. Such a well done game. There's really not been much since then that was able to get close to it on the PS3/360. I kept hoping for a new one, but Sony never went for it.

I enjoy Diablo 3 on the console almost as much as Norrath.

Torchlight 2. I wish this game would make it to the consoles. Torchlight 1 was on XBLA and was done very well.


Once Diablo hits the PS4, I'm going to have a hard time saying "no" to getting a new console.

Daggerdale had a cranky camera. I was disappointed by that. Made it hard to play. It didn't quite have the spirit of dungeon crawlers either.

RAWR. Same goes for this game. It had promise, but the crappy frame rates and sometimes wonky camera made it hard to play.

Tried to hop back into this game after not playing since basically release. Of all the RTS games, Diablo is the hardest to pick back up for me, which I found odd as the simplicity of it was one of Jay 'FU' Wilson's selling points.

I've been playing as a Barb after levelling a Wizard all the way and am really enjoying it. This and Path of Exile are firmly in my gaming rotation.

Looking at all these changes has me pumped for the expansion

Here I thought I was the only one who played CoN, that game was awesome and I wish there were more games released like it. One of my favorite gaming sessions ever was in 6th grade playing Return To Arms, my mom left to go wedding dress shopping or whatever with my aunts and there I sat in the same spot on the couch for 12 hours until they returned.

D3 was kinda meh to me on PC when it first released, the story was good but I had difficulty replaying it. May pick it up on PS4 when it comes out to see the new expansion/changes.

If you guys haven't tried out Van Helsing, you should give it a shot. Best pet/companion implementation and best boss fights of any ARPG out there right now. Very unique, yet dark, settings as well. Very much Steam Punk meets Diablo. It's only $19.99 with ALL DLC as well on Steam now.

Bought the game (actual orignal sealed XBOX verison for 9.99) for my son to play on his 360. He loves the movie and loves hack n slash games.


I picked up Diablo 3 for 34.99 as he and I along with my brother In-law and my niece will form a party and play this online together! Should be a blast and can't wait to start it (after Xmas).

Man you guys should wait for the new patch to drop before delving into it.

It's like night and day difference on the PC.
