    Well...

There are legendary that come from the horadric caches only. Those are specific to that acts horadric cache.

Otherwise for the regular legendary items, any can drop anywhere it's completely random.

The only one you should really be on the lookout for from the caches is Ring of Royal Grandeur from A1.

However, if you're looking for legendary crafting materials (anything NOT named Forgotten Soul)... Those DO have specific bosses that drop them.

You no longer need the unique crafting materials for legendary crafting anymore. That has been changed I believe.

Just sent over the gift dub. A little late, hopefully it's still of use.

Also I'm assuming no one got my nemesis? Haven't got a gift in a while either and I've got quite a few friends playing diablo.

Can someone help me understand this:

Why does this have a red arrow down in Defense when it has a bonus of +279 Armor, as well as 83 Poison Resistance while the other has 64 Resist All Elements? Does Resist All matter that much more in the calculation?

And the more important question, putting the arrows aside which one is better? Just FYI, Fan of Knives damage has additional value to me because I use that skill (it's my "GET OFF ME" move )

Thanks btw Zanner, that was a nice pick (it wasn't the random gift thing, he sent me this actual item). And to the others who sent the random gifts, think it was mikenoob and slinkyyx. Mike's in particular turned into a Quiver which absolutely destroys the one I was using, and more than likely puts me over that hump for defeating Malthael on Master.

Oh, also this after that quiver:

Now it's REALLY crits for days. I suppose I can turn off the yellow damage notification numbers now.

They are blood shards, you use them to gamble at the vendor in town.

Absolutely. Resist All is so important in this game.

The numbers are a bit fungible for each class, but I normally shoot for ~1K as a baseline for the higher torment levels in all resists.

Just so you guys know, the credits scroll is Diablo 3's true final boss.

(Hey, I'm enjoying the music and don't want to skip it!)

Oh sweet, just noticed I had around 500 of those and just spent them all on helmets. Gambled up a nice andariels visage which was a huge upgrade for me.

Also I found another level 70 bow that spawned with reduced level requirement of 30. If any level 40 demon hunters want to be OP let me know.

So...I had some really strange happen tonight. I was opening up Act 1 Horadric Cache's, and a Stone of Jordan dropped. I don't think that was possible on the PC version so I guess they've done something to the loot tables on the console version.

I have a level 26 Crusader going on. My first Diablo experience and the more the character levels up and gains more skills the better this game gets. I am really surprised at how well done this game is.

My Crusader is dominating! I love to equip the spinning lightening axes on RT, launch into the air and hammer the ground like a missile with RB and depending on the level of the poor hoard of beasts coming against me I can obliterate the lot with these two skills. Very satisfying way to brawl.

Dunno about the rest of you but my favourite loot drops are melee weapons, coat of armor and helmets. Love getting good new gear in these categories.

Crusader and Enchantress is a powerful combo too.

Pleasantly surprised by this games pulling power.

The Crusader is a beast. I played a long time ago as a demon hunter and the Butcher gave me a seizure. The Crusader, with the Rogue as my AI companion, knocked him off his rear in a minute. I cranked up the difficulty to hard (unusual for me) to get the game to provide more of a challenge.

Yep, I am playing on hard too. Once I got a feel for things I couldn't help eye off the extra 75% exp earned playing on Hard as opposed to Normal.

I beat the Butcher tonight with the Rogue as a companion. I didn't die once and only used one health potion right at the end of the battle to make sure I didn't go down needlessly. The Crusader is great for offense and had can take lots of punishment in return.

When I first started the game up I played the opening mission with each class and wasn't settled on any. The game felt a bit flat to me and I had a feeling of dread that it wasn't going to work out. I liked the dexterity and fluidity of the Monk but prefer to wield weapons. I almost went on with a Wizard build playing that and the Crusader a bit at a time until as the Crusader I unlocked the perk where you can wield a two handed weapon in one hand and also carry a shield in the other. After that I haven't touched my other created characters.

My Crusader is named Heavy Barny haha! An old Heavy Barny bananas is thriving!!

Barny may save us all. I went back and forth between crusader, monk and wizard until got the perk you mentioned. Then it was a no-brainer.
