Re: Socom: Confrontation (PS3)
I had bought the 1st issue of Qore when it was released. I just went in to try and download the beta and it told me that it was not available or I had already downloaded it (which I haven't). Anybody have problems downloading it through Qore?Comment

Re: Socom: Confrontation (PS3)
You dont need a code for the Qore beta. On the 12th just go to the download section of Qore episode 1 and click download SOCOM beta. I have no idea when on the 12th it will be available.Comment

Re: Socom: Confrontation (PS3)
I just played for a couple of hours and did not really have much lag. I am having fun although this feels much different than SOCOM's on ps2.As far as guns go, have mostly used the m16 and the m4 and have been happy with them. the scopes are much clearer to look through than the ps2 versions and you get a good amount of headshots if you use it.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Re: Socom: Confrontation (PS3)
Minsta, if you can, join a room that does not have too many people in it. the more people in a room, the longer it takes for it to load. Most of the issues are connectivity and loading problems which I think will be ironed out by launch.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Yeah, I think I see the problem now. I finally played a good 60 mins with no lag. I was in Canada East2 - ranked 8x8 medley which is the LAST channel on the list and the LEAST amount of players in it. Im gonna keep trying that.
On another note ......is crossroads a little different than socom 2 ?? Was the bell tower on the other side of the map before by the seals base ??? Im getting confused because I keep switching from seal/merc half way through.Comment

Re: Socom: Confrontation (PS3)
Yeah I've been playing pretty well with little to no lag also since launch. My brother had told it was best to join a channel that wasn't full. Have a little lag in respawn but I'm sure they'll be able to work that out soon. With that said, feels like SOCOM 2. Sniping is definately easier. My favorite weapons are very much in tact. I haven't found out how to throw a grenade overhand. They still throw it underhand even when I stand up.
Definitely can't wait til some more maps come. I need Desert Glory, Fish Hook, Night Stalker, shoot, just give me all my old maps!Xbox 360 GamertagRAW 910
