Pretty good game so far, just started playing. The one thing thats somewhat irritating is the sluggish controls when I was trying to smack around a few pedestrians. It seems like I press "O" and it takes a second or two before he hits the guy, while the CPU seems to hit me at a much faster pace. Anyone else notice this? Other then that Im having a great time so far.

I also agree that its a little sluggish and its becoming more of an issue when ever I'm in combat. For myself, I don't see why this game got a score of 10. High 9 yes, perfect 10 no.

If anyone is feeling like the game is unresponsive, is it specific to a console or are you seeing this with 360 and ps3 version?

Yeah, 3 straight times Ive been knocked out by a pedestrian because as Im hitting the buttons the CPU is hitting me at a much faster pace, causing my guy to stand there and get beaten down. Its honestly getting ridiculous, this guy should be able to beat up a homeless guy, its just very unresponsive and I dont remember reading about that in any of the reviews I read.

If anyone is feeling like the game is unresponsive, is it specific to a console or are you seeing this with 360 and ps3 version?

Im on PS3. Its tough to explain maybe, Im pressing "O" to punch and my guy does nothing, he just stands there. While this is going on, Im getting smacked around by the CPU, and I cant get the dodge feature to work to save my life. Ive tried pressing R1 when stationary and when moving and nothing happens, I must be doing something wrong right now.

EDIT- Had something weird just happen. I went into a diner and the people in there would keep vanishing, it was like the game couldnt decide if it wanted to load the people or not, one minute the place was rather full and the next minute only the woman behind the counter was there, it was strange.

It says that any car you park right out front of the apartment will be saved

I also at first, like for 30 minutes was a bit underwhelmed. I almost think there was no way it could live up to the hype.

Then I just slowed down and took a look around. And it kinda hit me. The city truly is the main character. Although I think the acting so far is very good.

One of the fun things I did is simply walk around a busy intersection and bump into people. Then it would piss them off and they'd swing at me. I wouldn't swing back, and the cops would pull up and either arrest the guy or smoke him. I had a huge traffic jam. The cops would fill the squad car with the guys they arrested. Then I'd jack the car...floor it...and just before a jump, jump out and send them plunging to their deaths. Yeah it's like that.

I truly believe SP is to be savored. PLAY this game slowly, enjoy it, cuz it's gonna tide us over for a long time. Too early for scores and that stuff for me, but I get a sense this will be so much fun.

I know it does, but I'm not seeing my car staying outside when I leave it there.
