I am ultra excited for GHWT, more than Rock Band 2. I enjoyed RB, but all the issues that I had with the mic not working properly and a few other things, I may go the way of GHWT for the full instruments......and then RB2 just for the guitar playing. The drums look more fun on GHWT and there is no way that I will have double the amount of instruments.

Re: Guitar Hero 4
Hey guys...I said in an earlier post that I would try to get some questions answered for you as I know the 'Lead for GH3 and GH4(for the Wii). Well, unfortunately it is still too early to disclose anything yet, AND there is the lovely NDA that I had to sign, so I can't really be specific on anything ATM. I will say that it is going to be SICK, and I may or may not have already gotten my hands on it recently (or maybe not :wink.
I wouldn't worry about loud drums either, it would be cool if the guitar had some new buttons to play w/ where you can change pitch on the fly and what not?....and wouldn't it be cool if you can create and record your own music? I think it would be...
I'll let you in on things when I legally can....Last edited by CFav; 06-26-2008, 10:26 AM.

Re: Guitar Hero 4
List of playable Rockers so far:
Sting
Ozzy Osbourne
Ted Nugent
Billy Corgan
Jimi Hendrix
Travis Barker
Hayley Williams
Zak Wylde.
Kinda surprised Hayley Williams (Paramore) made it into the game but I'll use her. She's too cute not to.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Re: Guitar Hero 4
I like that they're getting more real musicians into the game; last year's roster was, well, weak. It'd be cooler though if each had some sort of defining characteristic that would change the gameplay just a tad depending on who you picked (rather than just being a sort of avatar), though I have no idea how they would implement such.Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 4
Wow. This may have to be an early Christmas present to me from my wife.
She is going to think I am absolutely crazy for having two sets of drums (RB and now this), but this game sounds too good to pass up. Damn it!"Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 4
I was even disheartened to see both a song from Poison and also Bret Michaels (though in the bonus section) in Guitar Hero III. I just felt they got a little more than anybody else, and they took up someone else's space that could have added just that much more variation.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 4
As awesome as that sounds, I'd much rather they stick to the "one song per band" formula. It's different if they release this stuff in DLC (even if it's instantly), but I don't want to see some bands getting more love than another.

A decade and a half after releasing its previous album, Guns N’ Roses plans to put out a new song in September — on the video game Rock Band 2. MTV expects to announce on Monday that the sequel to its popular Rock Band game will include “Shackler’s Revenge,” a track from the Guns N’ Roses album that has been in the works for more than a decade, said people familiar with the deal who spoke on condition of anonymity because the arrangement has yet to be announced.Comment
