Just so people know - that setlist is false. It was posted on the Rockband forums, and pointed out by the developers that some of those songs don't even have master tracks that would work because some of the instruments are laid out on another track being used for something like vocals or what not (generally drums on the vocal track).

And all of the songs in GH:WT are going to be masters.

It's a fake list.

Hasn't Guitar Hero gotten bands to re-record songs specifically for Guitar Hero? I mean, they might have done that with some of the songs. Who knows... just trying to stay positive lol.

Hasn't Guitar Hero gotten bands to re-record songs specifically for Guitar Hero? I mean, they might have done that with some of the songs. Who knows... just trying to stay positive lol.

It's been confirmed fake now by a few gaming websites. It was pretty obvious that the list was too good to be true. Would have been nice, though.

I expect many of these songs to be in the game, though. If it is fake, it's an extremely believable fake. Then again, GH would never use a setlist that good. The absence of Made In Mexico should have given it away.

Yeah, I'm sure it will be like the RB2 leaked setlists, that ended up only being about ~10 songs off.

I wouldn't say many. I'd suspect more like the ones that have already been confirmed and then maybe a couple more lucky guesses.

Yeah, I suppose it was. I don't know why they aren't allowed to make the set list as awesome as possible, though. If I were them, I would say to some bands, "Hey, sorry guys... we saw how disappointed people were by realizing a rumored set list wasn't true, so I think we're going to go with the grain here. We're not going to use your song. Maybe next year! Maybe not!"

I haven't been too heavy with Guitar Hero since Neversoft took over... it just doesn't seem like they"get it." Even with characters, venues, and interfaces... they just went the wrong way with things, IMO.

That's why I'll probably be sticking with Harmonix down the long road. I just don't know when I'll be able to get into purchasing this game without it completely affecting my school work.
