I really was expecting a pretty half-assed program when I first about it - but they really look like they went all out. I'd got a Podxt myself, and it's cool to see how they worked it into the game.
I feel the same way. I'm picking up the Pod Interface for the mac in the next week or so myself.

This makes it worth it for me, because I can give drum charts to my drummer in the form of a video game. I can also lay down the structure of a song, have him create the drum file, and then he can apply himself to it the same way he does to any other song in the game. It makes practicing fun. That alone is worth 60 bucks.

Wow this game has really lost steam to Rock Band 2. Not being able to save band members is an absolutly horrible move.

Is that true? You can't save the characters you create?

          Nooo.

We're talking about saving band members when they're failing.

Meh. I'm getting GH:WT more for the guitar stuff and the instruments.

That right there just made my decision. I'll wait and buy the drums if they ever go separate instead of buying the entire bundle because, honestly, not being able to save band members is a "game-killer" for me. Won't be owning GH:WT, and I think my friend my change his mind after I tell him, as well.

Rock Band 2 for the win (though, I still want the GH:WT instruments, since they'll probably be better quality).

Can you set different difficulty levels for the different members of the band? Like say set drums to easy and guitar to hard, etc?

In Rock Band you could. Seeing as GH developers like to f*** s*** up, I would expect you can not.

And that you don't unlock songs for quick play multiplayer unless you beat them in career mode with those select instruments and that select difficulty. In fact, there probably won't even be a quick play multiplayer.

Maybe they should just cancel the damn thing. I'm really surprised at some of the things being left out.

The only thing that makes that setlist even remotely jump out at me is the presence of Lostprophets, one of my favorite bands. Other than that, Rock Band 2's setlist (even not counting the backwords-compatible DLC and the ability to import Rock Band tracks to Rock Band 2) is much better than this GH4 setlist.

Other than that, Rock Band 2's setlist (even not counting the backwords-compatible DLC and the ability to import Rock Band tracks to Rock Band 2) is much better than this GH4 setlist.
They picked one of my favorite LP songs too with Rooftops. I think it'd be amazing to sing.

I mean, it's not like it's exclusive so we could very well see them in RB DLC later on. Always hope.
