the thing I hated about the battles in GH3 was the poorly thought out death drain crap in "overtime".

yeah I just plain hated the guitar battles in GH3 and the one in GH:Aerosmith. The way they are in GHWT is much much better. You just play along with the guitar legend in GHWT and as long as you don't suck it up while on stage with the legend, you gain his respect and pass the battle.

Yep my son would save up all his stuff in "regular" time on easy mode. I was playing on hard. Than as soon as the notes started flying in OT he would go nuts. Sucker would kill me and talk so much crap. The competitive side of me had troubles taking a beating from my son.

Just recently picked up Rock Band and I have been trying to play using my GH3 Les Paul

My problem is that is doesn't seem to work with Rock Band, the blue button doesn't always work (already tried replacing the batteries).

I noticed from scanning the threads here that a lot of people use this guitar with Rock Band and I was wondering if anyone has had this problem.

I would buy another les paul if mine is just defective.

If you're using a PS3, that's why. I haven't heard any issues with people who have it on 360, but myself, and everyone I know, aren't able to use it for similar reasons.

I got the whole Foo Fighters album this morning. Worth every penny. This is up there with the Boston DLC.

Definitely. It may not be the hardest stuff to play but it's fun as hell.

I'm anxious to see what we get next week. Hopefully some SRV.

yeah, people do that online too. I would even play the song better but couldn't get them to fail out. Then OT rolls out and they hit me with the death drain B.S. and I lose. I'm glad to hear they tweaked it, as I haven't played World tour yet.

If I wanted to "battle" someone, I'd pop in Street Fighter or something.

I, too, like what GHWT did in place of the battles.
I hope RB never goes that route, though.

I'm just using the standard Fender that came with RB1. I'm on my second one since the whammy bar on the first one broke, but I've grown accustomed to this one.

I got AC/DC for $3.30

Local rental store,I asked if I was first to rent it wich I was,copied the code then got rid of the code out of the book. My 360 is broke so I had to get rid of it and of course no achivements for it but 18 songs for $3.30 is a much better deal than $40.
