I looked at charts for the Lenny Kravitz songs on YouTube last night and, yeah, they all pretty much suck. I might get "Are You Gonna Go My Way" for the drums, but the guitar chart is just the same riff over and over again. Bleh.

Yeah, that tends to happen when the song is just the same riff over and over again.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
That's the only song I got... but Timmay is right, it's the same riff over and over again throughout the song, the chart was similar in GH WT.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
No - it's not downloadable tracks in the sense of how the others work.
When you buy the AC/DC pack you can copy the songs to the HD and play them in Rock Band 2 if you want (and probably RB1 - but I haven't tried).
However, you're not actually copying the songs to the HD - it's actually downloading the songs from some server; so you're actually getting slightly different charts too (not sure why).
So when you use the code to copy your songs to the HD to play in RB2, you're actually downloading the songs, not copying them from the DVD.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
Yeah I don' even need to see the charts for that. Although it does have a key change. So there's that.
I think most rock songs pretty much have the same riff over and over again.PSN: JISTIC_OS

HELP
OK,so I Gamefly'd the RB Track Pack Vol. 2 and it doesn't give me an option to rip the songs to my HDD.What gives? I was able to do it with RB1 no probs.
EDIT: I guess it doesn't work that way,and you need the one-time access code from the manual.Ghey.Last edited by koebner; 01-15-2009, 04:51 PM.PS3/PS4 BradCompanyComment

Re: Rock Band 2
I have a question about the vocals as I'm still having a hard time figuring out exactly what is "measured." Is it the note you're singing, the speed of your vocals or the tone or a combination of all three? For me, vocals are the hardest part of the game and I've noticed I do a lot better on songs if I just ignore the lines and sing it from memory like I'm singing along with the radio.

Re: Rock Band 2
Razr is correct on that one. You just have to hit the note. It doesn't matter how loud you are, or if you stop when there are gaps. The words themselves mean nothing. If you're not used to singing(which I wasn't when I started), it can take an adjustment to separate the note from the sound of the singer's voice on songs you're not familiar with.
Just him it, or "ahhh" it, like Razr said, and you can find the ballpark of the notes they are singing.
This game grades much softer than RB1, so once you get the hang of it, you'll probably be able to get around the 90s on Expert for songs that you either know or learn.
It's pretty fun. I've sung more on this game than I have in my entire life.Comment

I just unlocked Everlong today and that was the most fun I've ever had on RB2.My latest project - Madden 12 http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2043231648Comment
