Is it just me or was DLC much better during the Rock Band I days?

Re: Rock Band 2
Maybe for your tastes, but I think it's just as good if not better.
We're getting more songs than we did in RB1 days so that in itself is great.
I'm still wanting Texas Flood. Don't know why it's taken this long to get it.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Agreed. I think it's been going downhill since The Who pack actually. I'm probably gonna go buy Rock Revolution since it's only $20 now,I really only like 5 songs but they got Pantera DLC yesterday so...yeah...win.Comment

Anybody on here recommend some good Dream Theater songs? I really like Panic Attack and Pull Me Under, so any suggestions would be great.Villanova Class of 2012

Re: Rock Band 2
I have the entire Octavarium album (excellent the entire way through) and the Scenes from a Memory Album. The story from front to end is amazing. I can't stop listening to it. I'm thinking about getting Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.

Change of Seasons is a MUST hear. Hit me back after you hear that one. It's a 20 minute track that was the only original song on the album. The rest of the album was Queen and Rush covers.
Almost forgot: Erotomania. Sick, sick track. Petrucci is absurd on that one.Last edited by Bornindamecca; 01-10-2009, 12:16 AM.Comment

Re: Rock Band 2
Six Degrees is brilliant, but it's more like the score to a movie. The songs all connect, and there is a lot of symphonic stuff. Again, briliant, but not "songs" in the traditional sense.

Re: Rock Band 2
I'll have to put Change of Seasons, Awake and Six Degrees on the list. I'm glad Rock Band has opened my eyes to new bands. I never would have heard of them (or given them a chance if someone recommended them) without this game. They're like a modern version of Pink Floyd.
Speaking of Dream Theater and Pink Floyd...

Couldn't resist also posting the Comfortably Numb Solo...
