Maybe I should try a little cardboard or paper to stick in there to keep the batteries tight.

As Longhorn said...no...but if it's any consolation, I've had my drums and guitar since launch (two months ago) and haven't had to change the batteries yet, and I play we play a good 3-5 hours per week.

If your batteries are coming loose, won't it tell you that you need to reconnect the controller? Sounds like the drums are faulty. You might consider RMAing the drums. I haven't had any problems at all with the batteries.

It does, but only after I fail a song and get ready to launch my drums into next week.

J-Unit, I have had this problem as well. I got the game for Christmas and the next day while playing with a friend we experienced the drums disconnecting several times. I tried different things to fix it based on suggestions from other boards, such as taping cardboard to the inside of the batteries cover, and it seemed to help a little, but didn't really resolve the problem.

Strangely, I haven't had that problem for about a week now. One thing I've noticed is that it only happens when using my wireless guitar as well. When I'm just playing solo drums or my friend is playing drums and I'm using the mic, it has never happened. Is this true in your experience, too? I'm just not totally sold on the "battery jarring" idea that others have come up with as the source of this problem.

My greatest wish for these wireless controllers is for them to allow us to put the controller battery packs into them. Seems like a no brainer to me, but maybe I'm missing something.

Thank you. I hate replacing batteries. It's just annoying to me. After putting batteries in about a dozen toys for me boys this Christmas, the last thing I want to see is some batteries for "my toys".

Finally got through Tour mode on Expert... though I don't hate Battery and Painkiller any less. The ending sequence was cool, at least.

I noticed there was a special prize for completing the last setlist in Shanghai; is there a special prize (beyond an Achievement) for clearing all the setlists at every location in the Tour mode?

I thought the set lists were part of beating the tour. So you just have to beat all regular songs to "beat" the game (as in, get the ending sequence, perhaps a trophy/achievement)?

The other special prizes are given for beating the final challenges per instrument in challenge mode. You only get it for whoever you complete it with. For example if you complete it with your guitarist you only get the item for that guitarist, your bassist won't get it,even if they're the same gender. If you compelte the guitar challenge and your bassist is with you you'll both get it.

Damn I just scored 370k on Green Grass and High Tides. I hit 89% of the 2nd solo... SO close to 90%. That probably would've gotten me an even bigger bonus close to 400k total... agh. Still, 370k is a personal best and something I'll take any day lol.

Different strokes, man. I find that song to be so repetitive and nutty. Those cats just ride the same boring licks all day. It's like hearing somebody scratch their fingernails on the blackboard.

But I'm into prog, where everything changes every five seconds, so that "jam" style of wank guitar playing doesn't mesh with my preferred style of wank guitar playing.
