I want to get the whole Blood Sugar Sex Magik album too and also Moving Pictures. The Oasis pack is tempting as well. And of course I will absolutely have to get Ten when it is released next month too. They are going to make a lot of money off of me this year, I'm sure.

Those are two albums I'd recommend highest to fans of those bands. Being the huge Rush fan I am, I freaking love getting to jam on the "Side 2" cuts of Moving Pictures. "Vital Signs" is a favorite song of mine and it's fun to have the songs on random and get some folks who are unfamiliar with the deep cuts of that album having to play The Camera Eye.

"WHEN DOES THIS SONG EVEN BEGIN?!" Then once it does start, they say, "That was a workout - what the hell!"

What it all came down to was this:

"Hey Man

For whatever reason, Rock Band has not figured out just how much people love Sublime. They had asked the band to be part of the last version, then pulled out at the last minute.

On the other hand, Guitar Hero is using more songs of Sublime's in future releases. Can't tell you which songs and when, but there will be more.

I'll pass on the info to the people who do Rock Band and maybe they'll wise up.

Eh, I like Sublime. A little of them goes a long way, but I dig their sound and don't regard them as overrated. Not nearly as overrated as Nirvana, whom you still hear people talking about today, whose songs are still covered today, etc. I can't remember the last time I heard someone mention Sublime before this thread.

"40 oz to Freedom" is a lot better than their more commercial stuff, btw....

Speaking of Rush, Wii DLC for this week is Moving Pictures. I only want to get about 3 songs. Which would everyone suggest? Tom Sawyer is a no brainer for me because I like the song. I was thinking of YYZ and Limelight. I listened to the songs on You Tube. Any others that are better for Rock Band?

I hated Sublime with a PASSION back in high school, and then I moved to California, and started listening to their earlier stuff, and suddenly, they became one of my favorite bands. Still can't explain it to this day, but I could listen to 40 oz any time, any day now.
