More significant RBN stuff today with indie alt group Band of Horses' song 'The Funeral' and thrash metal band Death Angel with 'Dethroned'.

If they were studio versions, this would be a kickass week. But live stuff stinks on this game. I love AC/DC, and I hardly play anything on that whole pack. Thunderstruck and For Those About to Rock are pretty much the only exceptions.

Whatever happened to the Pearl Jam Rock Band game? Just saw them in concert last night and couldn't help thinking that I would love a PJ Rock Band.

Yup. The newest for 360 are Redemption by Andy Timmons and Last Train to Awesometown by Parry Gripp but didn't think they were worth mentioning. I guess someone might want more train songs.

The Breaking the Law mix is GOD AWFUL.

                      The chorus is so QUIET.

I want Breaking the Law so I can hear the chugging chorus of BREAKIN THE LAW BREAKIN THE LAW

Another one today,Hungarian Dance No. 5.
I know people say he sold out and went mainstream to get more airplay as of No. 4 and it doesn't hold up to the first 3 but this is still good.

Rock Band DLC additions for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 system and Wii
Six songs from the quintessential jam band, Grateful Dead, will be added to the Rock Band Music Library next week, with "Beat It on Down the Line," "Cumberland Blues," "Scarlet Begonias," "Throwing Stones," "Touch of Grey" and "U.S. Blues." This brings the number of Grateful Dead tracks in Rock Band to a whopping 19. Grateful Dead formed in 1965 in San Francisco and had one of the most long-ranging and successful touring careers in rock history, fueled by their followers, "Deadheads." The band, led by Jerry Garcia, exhibited influences of jazz, rock, bluegrass and blues, among other musical stylings, and was named one of Rolling Stone's "The Greatest Artists of All Time."

American rockers The Smithereens make their Rock Band debut next week. The band is offering up "A Girl Like You" from 1989's 11 and "Only a Memory" from 1988's Green Thoughts. The Smithereens are working on a new album, due out later this year.

Touch of Grey is an awesome song, but I'll agree that on the whole these efforts have been weak as hell.
