If they're going to add country, why can't they add rap? Smart decision by HMX to expand their customer base, even if it may annoy their original customers.

Because rap normally doesn't use real instruments and synthesizers instead? Because to rap has very little to do with the pitch of your voice?

Or it could just be because most of it is too degrading and is tough to censor it all without keeping lyrics to the song.

Trying to compare country or that to rap is downright silly.

Talkies don't bother me, it's part of it.

Expanding to new horizons doesn't bother me. In fact, I welcome it even if it is rap.

But the fact that they are having to chart EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS SONGS on guitar when there is no guitar is the problem I have. Country music actually has instruments, obviously guitar. It's not a part where they are charting some organ (like Boston) or a 10 second part of piano (like NIN). It's the entire song and it's multiple songs.

I mainly play guitar so that's the problem I have.

Knowing me, I'll still get the songs because it's amusing. But I really don't think they should branch out so much that you forget what instruments you have in the game.

I figured they would have someone like The Roots, Snoop never crossed my mind.

Will the lyrics be censored? If so then I think I will pass.

Of course they will be.

And I think it's a bad idea to put songs with no guitar parts in a guitar driven rhythm game.

Now if they added some of the Onyx/Biohazard stuff from the early 90's I would be all over it.

The one thing I love about Rock Band is while many of the users flock to the game because they have already played Guitar Hero, the game does a great job IMO of not promoting the Guitar over the bass, drums or vocal parts of the game. While Yngwie is mainly for guitar players, vocal people can focus on Snoop. Hell, I'll be happy to just play those drum samples.

For optional pay for DLC, I would love to get some NO PART stuff for the guitar, drums or bass. Just to even out the instrumentals and to get some variety. There would be a huge flame storm if one entire week's DLC was like that but one or too songs in the mix won't hurt anybody.

I think it'll be fun and interesting. I'll wait to see the charts but I don't know why I wouldn't buy them.

The only problem I have with Snoop on RB is the censorship factor. I hate playing the censored songs. I really wish that they would make a version of Rock Band for adults.
