I love Legendary in the first Halo game on co-op. Just something about it made it more epic than the other two games. Maybe perhaps it was the first one, I don't know.

Halo ODST Video Interview and Warthog ride

Curtis Creamer, Lead Producer of HALO 3: ODST, gave us the lowdown on tweaks to the graphics engine (there aren't any), improvements to the AI (there are heaps) and a whole lot more. Oh yeah, did we mention that we also got to go for a spin in a real Warthog, and filmed it all in high-res HD glory? It sure beats catching the bus to work!

I was wondering how the co-op would work given the open-world structure, and Curtis says it will be similar to previous Halo games, in that you will warp if you get to far behind. Interesting, as on a previous Bungie podcast Luke said he was playing with a couple others from the studio and they were at completely different ends of New Mombasa. I guess that can no longer be the case.

Becasue this game was once $39.99. So, I was wondering if maybe they will drop it down to that after the hype wears off.

No it wasn't. Maybe some retailers listed it as such, but it never had an official price point until it was announced at E3 that it would be $60.

Well it kind of did since MS said it was a expansion pack and would priced as one. Then it was announced at $59.99 and Bungie backed the price up by saying it is more than a expansion pack.

I think you will have a hard time finding where Microsoft said that it would be priced as an expansion before. Bungie was the only one saying they didn't view it as a $60 title, but that it was to early to say for sure and that ultimately the pricing was out of their hands.

As of now, the game is being considered a full game, and is being priced as such, so I don't think there is a reason the game will drop in price soon after the release unless the game were to sell poorly, which there is NO chance of.

Thanks for the responses guys. I really want this game, but I'll probably get Madden instead. Hopefully it drops in price and I can pick it up. However, thanks for responding.

It's also in all likelihood going to be the highest selling game of the year

MS will be in no hurry to drop the price of this thing.

Yes, but if you can wait a couple of months I think you'll find it on sale for $40 or even cheaper used.
