If you create a new character you'll fly by the first 2 stones since you know what to do. I might have to make a new character as my character is way too weak to kill anyone in NG+.

the time you spend waiting to see if it's possible could be spent just playing the game to get back to where you were.

Ah why can't I help a friend beat the 3-2 boss. We connected before and he asked me for help on it, and I already completed it. When I place my blue sign while he is in body form he says he can't see it. Eventually Old Monk summons me and I just either use white stone out or let the guy kill me.

It's official: this is my favorite game of all time.

Played for 18 hours of a 24-hour period recently.

The more you play, the better you get; the better you get, the more you enjoy it; all the while the game is more or less endless. I'm well over 150 hours now.

Amazing. Just amazing. I'm going to plat this.

BTW, this is my PvP build:

I call her "The Nightmare" ...

SL185
Armor: Binded Cross
RHW1: Tearing Uchigatana +5 (causes severe bleeding)
LHW1: Mercury Kilij +5 (gives severe poisoning)
RHW2: Baby's Nail (inflicts plague)
LHW2: Sticky Compound Long Bow +5 (best bow in the game)

All of that, not to mention dual-wielding two swords looks effin badass! She's basically a hybrid of Miralda and a red-eye skeleton.

Vitality: 40
Intelligence: 10
Endurance: 40
Strength: 24
Dexterity: 42
Magic: 9
Faith: 7
Luck: 13

Does anyone know how to find chunk of bladestones or pure bladestones? I know you find bladestones in world 4 and I have black tendency there on NG+.

Pure Bladestone is the single rarest drop in the game. Good effin luck. Buddy of mine tried farming that for 9 hours the other day with no luck.

4-2 Black Phantom Dual Katana Black Skeleton (requires Pure Black World Tendency, backtrack beyond entrance of slug pit from 4-3,past grim reaper.)
4-2 Dual Katana Black Skeleton in hidden passage (confirmed with pure black world and equiped the Sword of Searching), I got it without the sword of searching

Ok, from only a small amount of time with this game I still put it in my top 5 of 2009 but now it's frustrating the hell out of me.

Am I blind or is there really no save points?

I mean, I just spent 3 days fighting through a stage, learning the strategy, buying some stats etc only to get to the boss and die in one hit and get sent back to the start of the stage again.

This does not seem like an RPG game at all. Nor does it seem fun any more.

I take it heaps of people were in my boat and then grew better and more in love with the game but can someone give some pointers or a pep talk to get me out of this 'I'm never playing this massively over-rated and highly annoying game again' phase?

Yeah, same question for me. I can't connect to folks when I want to. If that was cleaned up, man this would be great.

This game is fun but just became so frustrating that I moved to Dragon Age Orgins.....Never been back....

I agree with the frustration comment. Being hard is one thing, but since when do modern games make you have to do a full level AND boss in one flawless run without a save point?

Yes I know there are shortcuts in some areas but unless I am blind, there is not a shortcut to the Tower Knight?!

I enjoy the difficult of the fights but not the whole, 'do a perfect run' type gameplay. Maybe I was expecting more of an RPG than the game really is. The game feels more like an in depth action game than a proper RPG.
Maybe I am not hardcore enough any more, I don't know.
