When Mass Effect 3 gets ready to come out I'm doing to do a definitive run through Mass Effect 1&2 to set the stage.

I feel cheated. Waited months for DLC to drop in price and it only drops for a day when I was too busy to turn on the 360. BS that these are a total 25 dollars hours after being 8.

I played the demo for about 10 minutes on the PS3 and then just stopped. Because I don't want anymore of the game revealed to me.

Can't wait to play this game.

Tough break. You can buy dlc from Xbox.com without going on your 360.

I bought all 3 DLC with the great sale. How does this tie into your save file though if you have already beaten the game? I haven't played ME2 in like 10 months and only have my one play through. I haven't tried playing the DLC yet, but can I still play it without starting a "new" game?

You're in for a treat...probably my favorite game series, and while the main story might not be quite as good as ME1 (IMO) it's still great and the pacing and game play elements in ME2 work so much better and merge together as well as anything I've ever played.

Crap...now I've talked myself into another playthrough...lol.

20 more days to go CB.......Mass Effect franchise is one of the best releases on 360, so it's nice the franchise is coming to the PS3. If you have a good enough PC, I recommend playing the first one. Such a great experience.

nah...not a PC gamer, but I am definitely looking forward to playing this game. The demo was fantastic and I can only imagine what the actual game is like.

Picked up (and just finished) both of these during the steam sale.

The only thing I can say is wow. It's such an emotional rollercoaster throughout the series, not to mention the codex which you can easily get lost in. The loyalty missions are phenomenal. Also, once I started playing (especially ME2) I found it hard to stop.

The second one IMO is not even an RPG, and much easier than the first, but it compensates with establishing a close emotional connection with all of the characters.

What happens if you don't upgrade the ship before the final mission? I upgraded the things that could affect outcomes of missions, such as the kinetic barriers, ship plating, and cannon. In the cutscene as I was approaching the Collector base, several references were made to my upgrades, such as the ship that shoots you down in the beginning being destroyed, and blasting through the debris field with our boosted kinetic barriers.

On the negative side, I experienced multiple times Shepard being stuck in a spot, unable to move, aim, shoot, or use biotic powers. Looking at the command menu, I was "blocked", as it displays on a team member when they are knocked out. Very frustrating, as it happened during 2 boss battles, and one encounter with 2 large mechs. In that last scenario, I got dislodged by a rocket, but still frustrating.
