Only got to play for a couple hours last night, much more to come tonight. Did a couple quests and killed some animals, all I know is that the more I get into this game the more I'm gonna be addicted to it.

I ran into a guy in Armadillo and he challenged me to a duel, I must have been tired or something but the duel instructions seems to come and go too fast so by the time it started I had no idea what I was doing, I'll be sure to know for next time haha.

I did free roam last night and came upon these guys down in this valley that saw me and immediately shot my horse. So I started picking them off from up above in the tree line. Man it was great, reminded me of the scene in The Unforgiven where they had the gun fight and Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman were up on that ledge shooting down into the valley. The gun fight lasted all day and into the night, finally I killed the last of them in the moonlight. So in the end I had about $800. I had to shut the game off and go to bed.

Now will my experience and cash from that experience be there the next time I go into free roam or is each session it's own little world that begins and ends with each session?

Haven't tried free roam as of yet, was to involved with SP last night, This game is remarkable, really. his is true genius and a masterpiece. I love how you can just walk around ANYWHERE without feeling any limits. In SP I took a Horse rid into the woods in the night, I found some great and and impressive things. I LOVE THIS GAME.

When taking my horse for a night ride after I left Bonnie, I killed every animal I saw skinned and skinned it. Skinning animals is just freaking golden. Then I saw some guy around some rocks still at night way up in the woods around a fire, he then challenges me to a shooting contest for money, I didn't have the money to compete, so I draw my go and he goes for his, and I blast him dead on his little bond fire. Guess what, Now I have money...LMAO this game kicks BUTT

Does anyone know if certain missions happen in certain weather? Last nite I experienced my first thunderstorm! It happened during my second lasso mission outside of Armadillo. The cutscenes were all obviously in the rain as well. Just wondering because if the weather is totally dynamic and not triggered by certain missions then it makes this game all the more amazing!!!!

Roping and breaking a wild stallion in a thunderstorm was freakin intense!

Played about 5 hours already - I'm 18% complete. haven't seen a bear yet, I can't wait to get one. I already have my mind made up that I'm going to take out Seth if I ever get the chance. I can't stand that guy and his missions.

BTW Marston can't swim. I went over to the lake and jumped in, and got the DEAD screen right away. Oh well.

I'm riding through town and some guy runs up to at random and goes, "They're about to hang my friend! Help me!" I figure, "Okay. Might be fun." We ride up there, blast on everyone, but the guy dies. I thought that'd be the end of it, but then the friend starts grieving over his buddy. I can't just leave him there so I go..."Don't worry. You won't have to grieve over him." So I shoot him in the chest and ride off. Didn't lose any Honor for some reason. lol

Still haven't had a duel yet. Anxiously waiting for that.

This game is utterly amazing. I was riding around in the night and it appears that is when the bandits make their way out. I must have been chased by a few groups of bandits on horseback and on foot. I successfully took them out, but it was just too cool to see them coming from a distance and once they spotted me they began their chase. I can't wait to play more tonight, this is some absolutely good stuff. I still can't wait to see the rain, I hear it is astonishing how realistic it is.

I was playing black jack and it was rediculis. You had to get 21 to win. You got 20, the dealer got 21. If you got 19, the dealer got 20. It was really irritating me so I said the hell with this, stood up and shot the dealer in the face, killed everyone else in the bar that shot back. Tea bagged the hell out of his body then proceeded to pay the fine in the Office. .

ROFL!!!


Sidenote: I have to say, the shootouts to start the multiplayer games are a blast. For something so small, they are hilarious and fun to do

I ended up taking yesterday off of work and going on a red bull and mountain dew binge while putting in about 12 hours of SP and MP. I have never played a game that was this polished and had me this interested going through SP, excellent. My only gripe was the servers since release, group of eight of us really had problems getting in and maintaining connection. It did provide for some comedy though when your horse would just disappear and you looked like you were riding and invisible horse lol.

I also had my first duel in SP last night. I was able to hit the guy in the torso twice and then the head. Following the fight I went to loot his corpse, and he must've had a grapefruit sized hole in his head. It was funny to me because it even solicited a comment from my GF.

Her: "Did you shoot him with a shotgun, I thought it was a duel?"

Me: Nope, just the revolver.

Her: "Well that's a big hole for a little gun."

I'm also off tomorrow so I will have plenty of time to play this evening.
