spotted a glitch possibly.

im hunting a cougar in the hills and finally kill it with my knife for the level 5/6 hunting challenge. but right after that, I get killed by some boars. so i get taken back to the house I last saved and I no longer have the cougar accounted for.. it did that as well when I killed two boars, then I was killed but a third. When I came back to life, I didnt have the boars accounted for. Am I missing something?

BTW, hunting and waiting is quite fulfilling. Better than any calbera game ive ever played

Do snakes show up in the middle of the road ever? If not, that'd explain why I've only seen two in 9 hours and 15 minutes.

I've never seen them across the road, only time I know they're around is when my horse neighs.

riding around and I see a police officer who had two guys escape. I lend a hand and lasso them up and bring them back. As I'm looting the copses of the dead officers, this cop shoots both of the hog tied guys!

Then a little later I come across more Mexican police. This time they have a guy with his hands bound. Two of them have weapons aimed at him the 3rd draws on me as I get close to watch. The other two execute the guy and they go about business like nothing happened. Very cool IMO

I think I have one. Not 100% sure; he's mostly black, but there are definitely hints of a dark, dark brown, too.

Found him in SW/Central Rio Bravo.

Even if it's not the right horse, he's pretty awesome. Loads of stamina and good top speed. If there's a better horse I haven't ridden it yet.

DAMN! Those mountain lions come out of no where!

I had a scare with one last night. He caught me from behind, gave me a good scare because when I play my kids are in bed and I'm close to the TV. He definitely gave me the sense that I need to pay more attention to HIS territory.

Man, that would make an absolutely awesome game!

I agree, if someone could do the dark tower and do it justice, that would be great. No better opening line to a series of books then: "the dark man fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed."

When I played Fallout 3, I played once as "Roland" and once as "Walter O'Dim", trying to mimic what I thought they would do in certain situations. It was fun

I did the first side mission where you help this rancher clear out a gang from his place, and eventually he says "save my daughter!" So I go inside his house where I see one of the criminals pointing his gun at the daughter and I just watch as the guy blows her brains out with a shotgun...... and my honor level goes down by 200..... so much for quick reflexes.

same exact thing happened to me. I wanted to replay it, but hadn't saved for a couple of hours.

Loving the game so far. Had a question about the save system.

I made a save at the little cabin on the ranch. Went out and did about 6 missions, saw a lot of "autosave" going on the whole time.

Anyway I was out in the wilderness when a wild boar attacked my horse. I couldn't see, it was dusk. Horse bit it, I fell off and out of nowhere got mauled by some tiger looking thing....DEAD. So when it reloads I'm back at the ranch.

Am I at the ranch from my original save? Or am I at the ranch with all the autosaves? I'd hate to have to do all those missions again.

Check your log and see what you've got in them? If you completed things, it's going to show logs of it.

But I'm pretty sure if it's saving your game then it's loading from that save, not the one you made manually way back when (which I believe gets overridden by the autosaves anyway).

But just check your in game logs to make sure.
