You can blend it with the gang. For example if you use the Walton Gang Outfit they won't shoot at you or anything. This can be good for bounty hunting as you can get up close to your target without fighting your way through. Once you do kill or capture your target then all hell breaks loose so it's time to get out of there.

And I think it is cool to have different outfits to wear and just mix it up. I'm wearing the Bollard Twins outfit right now and I like. Wasn't a fan of the Walton Gang outfit because I thought the hat looked goofy.

Basically, after you draw (and make sure you wait to draw when the "DRAW" flashes), you want to line up a target and wait for the reticule to turn white before you paint the target/pick your shot. If you tap it, you'll basically be firing blind and will more than likely lose once the duels start to get harder.
So do we hold in R2? Or just press it once. Not sure how it works. The only duels I win is when I shoot the guy like 6 or 7 times and it shouldn't be like that.

I too have had this same issue with duels.

I have 2 ps3's. One in the lounge that is mainly used for BR's etc on the big tv and a 2nd one that i use for 90% of my gaming in the bedroom on a smaller tv. My wife was away this week so i was using the big tv and must have built up at least 10 hours in my "bad guy campaign". When i tried copying the saved game to a usb stick and tried loading it on the bedroom tv it said there was an error and it wasn't possible to load it?

Guess i'll have to try again. I really don't want to start over on the other other console if i don't have too (but i love this game so much i will if i have too ).
They can definitely transfer. I'm home at my parents house for the weekend and I brought my game and saves with me and have been playing on their ps3.

When it says DRAW, pull the left trigger, move the stick to paint the target and then pull the right trigger.

The last few duels I've won have taken one placed shot to the hand. They'll drop the gun and run away. Easy win. And honor for you.

Man, I have been so much deeper int he game, This is by far the best game I have ever played. It's just amazing.

I was doing a side mission it was dark as hell out and I saw some women calling for help with what looks like just a bra on, I went to help her and then got ambushed by things, I fought but they killed me, it was awesome.

That is something that I would have liked to have seen actually. Although I remember Wes Dickerson talking about driving out the native americans, but of course there would still be some around, I would have loved to have seen a couple in an isolated place and the second they see you dart at you...

They could always have DLC I guess.

I did too days before it came out. I finally purchased a copy and love this game!

Sorry if I am rubbing it in anyone's face but this is most definitely a "Game of The Year" contender.

My buddy has been playing it religiously since he got it. I've seen a lot of the gameplay and even played some myself, but I don't have the cash to get it yet. Should be here soon from GameFly

It truthfully feels like a mixture between living within a Western and watching a Western movie. And this is coming from someone who has logged over 25 hours in the single player and another 5 or so in the multiplayer.

                            It's worth it.

So far I'm having more fun just running around finding bounties, killing animals, and looking for "random" events than I am actually doing missions and going through the story.

Then even when I'm going to do a mission I get side tracked by a "random" event or hunting some deer that just started running off, etc, etc. Can't keep myself on track; keep getting pulled into something else.
